Dear Davis Griffin,

You tried.
You failed.

Now let’s MAKE it right. Leverage Mitchell and Gobert’s icy relationship and latest playoff flameout to get him to NOLA. BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY

Lonzo
NAW
#10 + #38
Lakers 2022
2 Future 1st
2 Future Pick Swaps

Thats a lot of stuff. But that would make us a top team.

BUT, the Jazz were the best team in the NBA this year and just had a collapse. I think if Mitchell is healthy the whole series, they are in the WCF. We’ll never know though.

Yeah, because I’m sure the Jazz see the answer to their “problems” as trading Mitchell.

The Jazz aren’t trading Mitchell unless he goes nuclear trying to force his way out, which he will not

This and I imagine with the trade offers they'd get, the only way we're getting our foot in the door there is to add Ingram...which I'd be happy to do as Mitchell is just a level, if not a couple of levels, well above Ingram.

I want to keep NAW.
give them Ingram.

and I keep #38.

zo
bi
a laker first
a bucks first
pels #10

this only happens if spider asks out.
so ball and bi and three #1s is enough.
the laker pick might be lottery.

davis is fragile
lebron is older.

Utah will trade Rudy before they trade Mitchell.

And before anyone says anything, no

Adams, Bled, other salary filler straight up for Rudy?

Roll out a supersized lineup of

Naw
Ingram
Zion
Hayes
Gobert

BI
Kira
10
Lakers 22 first
Pels 22 first
Bucks 2025 first top 4 protected (turns into Pels swap option)

If they want Lonzo and he’s willing to sign there they can have him too, but I don’t know if he would go there. I would prefer to keep him if we would land Mitchell, obviously not a deal breaker though

Not at 41 million a year for 5 years. That will be considered the worst contract in the NBA in 2 years time.

Jazz are trading everything in their ledger before trading Donovan Mitchell.

Yeah, I was kinda trolling lol. I feel like a Rudy trade would be tough to work out. The Jazz prob would want value for him bc he’s the DPOY and does add value in the regular season. However, like you said, the contract is atrocious and it appears his style and strengths conflicts with winning a championship unless you had had him making 15 mil and splitting time with another quality stretch big vs 41 mil just for one old school center.

I think the Jazz are ultimately going to be stuck with Rudy unless D Mitch forces their hand and they sell low.

Yeah I agree.

He was also one of two players to not participate in the Jazz’s media availability.

Theyr'e just following cues from their agents telling them what to do.

It's almost the exact same thing Dame posted, it's meant to put pressure on the front office to make moves to better the roster.

It's basically like step 1, I imagine both Spida and Dame will give it at least 1 more season but I'd be thrilled if either or both demand a trade, and we can unload a good bit of the war chest to grab one of em.
