I'm really not big on Culver, and definitely not Reddish.

Wouldn't mind Hunter, although i don't think he has a high ceiling, but a high floor.

I'd be very happy with Schofield in the 2nd round, or Grant Williams if either fall that far.

If we are picking 9th, i hope Coby White is still available.

What i don't want to do with our first pick is pick a position. Just draft whoever you think is the best player regardless of what position they play or how you think they'll fit with this player or that player.

I have a feeling White is going to end up going before we pick. Assuming we are picking 8/9. He’s been the biggest riser in mocks over the last month or so and once he starts working out for teams he’s just going to go up.

I’m interested in Darius Garland. Dude can score and has the ability to facilitate. His only issue is lack of experience because of his injury and explosiveness

Yeah if we get like 8 or 7, Garland is who I’m hoping will be there.

Not as explosive as Morant but he has better handles and is arguably a better passer

And he’s a better pure shooter

I’m happy to draft whoever. We finally have a rookie from the first round. A lottery pick at that. But I would say Garland is the best pick. I don’t mind Hunter, white or Washington. I like Washington after Garland though, dude is a straight hustler/baller.

Clarke is big time underrated. If he were 18-19 like some of these other guys he would
Be a lock for top 4. He’s NBA ready. He might not have the upside of a Zion or Ja, but he’s going to contribute right away, play smart and efficient ball.

Go back and watch Clarke and Zion go at each other and you will see where Clarke ate Zion's lunch head to head. The Duke media frenzy never talks about that game though but NBA scouts have watched it over and over again. Clarke is the real deal and it wouldn't surprise me to see him go as high as #6.

You really think culver will be the 3rd best player.

I wasn't that impressed watching him in the final 4 game.
He didn't really affect the game to me but I didn't see the Virginia game

White
Clarke
Garland
Hunter

If we end up with any of these 4 at our pick I'll be happy.

But everything is around the rim with Clarke.

I’ll say it again, but Garland is a Klutch client. Not going to happen.

My updated top 10 (will very likely have at least one top-10 pick)
1. Zion
2. Ja
3. RJ
4. C. White
5. Culver
6. Clarke
7. Garland
8. Reddish
9. Sekou
10. Hayes

Guys I like later (Kings, Clips, Celtics pick and/or our 2nd rounder)

Bruno Fernando, PJ Washington, Okeke (Draft him and redshirt him for year), Talen Horton-Tucker, Jontay Porter (redshirt), Dylan Windler (next Chandler Parsons)

I like Bruno Fernando.

Wonder where he gets picked

I would bet Bruno goes in the 21-27 range. He is much better than that, but teams will reach on bigs that can stretch over him. That's nice and all, but look at how valuable a guy like Montrezl Harrell is, even though he can't shoot a lick.

I really like Rui and PJ Washington mid to late 1st round. They are solid stretch 4s off the bench. Nothing flashy but you know they will play hard and can kinda shoot.

I like PJ way more than Rui - I think he has a better chance at defending multiple positions. I think Rui would have been an awesome 90's player, but I just can't see him making an impact in the current NBA. He does everything that doesn't matter any more (post offense, mid range) above average but not great, and the things that are now valued (3-pt shooting, defensive mobility, etc) are below average. I think he becomes a 10th or 11th man at best

I'm not as high on Coby White as others but his age makes him intriguing.

Hard for me to see Bruno dropping out of the lottery, definitely won't go past 20 imo. But I do like him and PJ Washington.

Okeke I think would be a 2nd round steal
