Trading for Wiggins was so mind-numbingly stupid.
I think they knew the window was closing (at the time of the trade they had already lost Durant to free agency, Klay was out for the year, Curry was basically out for the year), and added an asset to plan for the future (Minny 2021 pick).

It's likely that Russell vs Wiggins is irrelevant to whether or not they'll win a championship in these next few years.

If they miss the playoffs this season, they should have a solid foundation going forward (Wiseman, likely high Minny pick, their own lottery pick), while still being able to somewhat compete next season if Klay comes back.

I think some of y’all are underestimating Kyrie’s ability to kill a vibe.

He’s almost as dumb and selfish as JR Smith. Smarter enough, though, to believe conspiracy theories.

Warriors really miss Klay and I could honestly see this team missing the playoffs again.

They’ll finish closer to 15 than they will 8. That team is atrocious.

Many people say Klay was always more important to that team than Curry.

Is this one of those trump “many people are saying” things, or can you point me to people who actually say this? Because I don’t think anyone has said that.

Its actually something a lot of people say.

I have definitely heard people saying this on several occasions.

Doesn't mean its true, but it is something people like to say.

Yep, we also hear a lot that peak Draymond was the most important piece.

I'd argue that at their peak, Draymond was more important than Klay, but those who think that either were every more important than Steph are just off their rocker.

From a leadership standpoint, I agree.

It’s his franchise and he sacrificed for winning.

I love that the Hawks just beat the Grizzlies comfortably. Brandon Clarke played 20 minutes and went 2-8 for 4 points, with 4 personal fouls and a +/- of -15.

OKC just finished a two-point win over Charlotte. Neither of those teams is going to be any good, but it was interesting to see that:

For OKC
- George Hill got 21 points
- Kenrich played 15 minutes and scored 5 points
- Poku played 11 minutes and went 0-6 with 0 points

For CHA
- Gordon Hayward played 35 minutes and scored 12 points on 5-13 shooting (not exactly what you expect from his new contract, but is anyone surprised?)

End of the 3rd quarter and the Spurs are up 91-86 on the Raptors. DeRozan has already played 28 minutes for the Spurs. I'm glad that this is a tight game, and the Spurs aren't going to be able to rest their starters at all in the 4th.

LOL at the Knicks for putting Reggie Bullock out there in a jersey with #25 on the front and #23 on the back. Just a horrible WTF from the Knicks equipment staff.

Yeah, but that is still a revenge game for DeRozan. He played 36 minutes, but he's the only player who played more than 30, as Pop tried to keep something left in the tank for tonight.

I thought the Warriors would still be a good team, above .500 at least, but without Draymond and obviously Klay, they look like a lottery team.
