Klay doesn’t get his own shot. He’s one of the highest assisted players in the league and he can’t get to the rim in isolation. Great player, but in terms of offense, he could never carry a Harden like role.
Like I said, it’d be a different type of team. And keep in mind my point was not that Klay would be Harden, but that he could have taken the route of being “the man” had he wanted it, but chose otherwise.
I think he’s better than his role suggests and he also has some sneaky good skills the Warriors aren’t naturally conducive to like his ability to post up and make plays out of that position. Make plays in the mid range when driven off the three point line(mid 40’s shooter in the mid range).
He moves the ball well but isn’t asked to take that role with Curry/Green/Iggy/Durant around.m so he focuses on using screens and drawing attention off ball.
