I think Zion is 100% over Willie’s shite, and I don’t think TM3 is far behind. Tankmaster Willie gots ta go.

Wanting anyone to remain from this coaching staff and expecting drastically different results is certainly a choice.

I was right there as well. Zion did not warm up as stated. He also didn’t come out with the team. Came out right before the player announcements and national anthem. Took three lazy shots.

Right after national anthem started, he turned and walked to the bench and sat on the bench by himself. I guess protesting the anthem. Then he was angry and arguing with the refs from the tip. The rest of the team just kindof laughed or rolled their eyes for most of it.

Overall, the team seems awesome. Guys all helping each other, having fun, playing hard. Many guys coaching the rooks etc. Jose, DeAndre Jordan, Looney etc all extremely engaged. Zion just seems like such an outcast. He also threw the ball inbounds right to the other team. Can’t even explain his thoughts there.

That being said, he played great and guys don’t seem mad at him or anything. Seems like a bit of a circus, that maybe everyone just deals with.

Zion usually comes out before the crowd shows up and generally works with an assistant coach. This was shown on the Memphis feed in the first game. I'm assuming he goes out early and then goes to the back for soft tissues maintenance and stretching...etc.

Barely anyone was out there warming up really. I thought it was much more curious he didn’t come out when the team came out. But yes, could be just stretching etc

His attitude this entire time just looks like someone who doesn’t want to be there
I’ve been saying this. Trade him now while his value is high before he gets hurt again. I know fans doesn’t want to hear what you are saying but he does pout a lot

I wasn’t implying he wasn’t doing anything. I’m well aware that’s likely what he was doing. Not a problem.
Is there a goal under the arena?
Do you think it’s wise for a guy to play an nba game and not shoot or dribble a ball within an hour of the game starting? Seems pretty fricking stupid to me. Maybe start your stretch routine earlier and get your fat arse out there and shoot some free throws.
So, based on your comments, you already had a preconcieved opinion and just wanted to spout it. Had season tickets since team came to New Orleans. Also, have had pregame courtside access before doors open to watch shoot arounds. Very common to not see the stars of the teams come out during these times and right before game. Had access to several Laker games and never saw Lebron. Did not see Jokic at Nuggets games and so on. The players have access to the arena for hours during the day as well. Also, have always seen Zion interacting with his teammates (my seats are 7 rows from court, so good view).

The amount of hate so many on this board has for Zion is maddening. No matter what he does, people wanna bitch. Pathetic.

False. When Zion feted us with the most epic back tat the world has ever seen, I cheered.

When Zion showed up too fat to play basketball each of his first 6 years as a basketball player, I did grumble a bit.

I mentioned his pregame routine last year
This is odd.

I go to 2 Pels games every year, and he has a routine and is always out there and has never skipped one in any game I've gone too.

His dribbling sucks
I've said for years in here, and usually it gets pushback which is mind blowing, but Zion has the worst handles in the league for a lead facilitator/best offensive player on a team.

I've never seen a player just lose the ball in an unforced way as much as Zion does, and whoever is 2nd is probably not even close.

What the hell are you talking about?
I couldn’t care less about the pregame stuff. I understand everyone has different things they do. Whatever. No big deal. It was just an observation.
I still think it’s stupid to not take a single shot before the game starts.

His play on the court has more to do with me not wanting him anymore. I’m tired of watching him play shitty defense 90% of the time. Tired of him not working on his handles, or any shot other than a bruiting lay up. He sprints maybe once or twice a game, always jogging or walking. His game is flawed and it won’t get better b/c he is lazy.
His value is at its highest right now if he stays healthy. Just trade him and start over.

We gave the guy a ton of unrequited love for 3-4 years. 7 years in and we've won zero playoff series and he's played in 0 playoff games. Plus, he's got weird off the court issues. He's earned every bit of hate/criticisms that he gets thrown his way until proven otherwise.
