Which is 6-9 months for a Pelicans player injury.

Are you sure? All I can find is ‘feared’ to have fractured his hand. Maybe it’s been updated since and I just haven’t seen it

The new Shams report confirmed it.

Considering he played through it, I would assume it’s not some compound fracture. Good news is he can keep his cardio up so when his hand his healed, he should still be in game shape conditioning wise. Hopefully he will be back early December at the latest.

And just like that, it will be December before our projected starting 5 is on the court together.

Ok so let’s assume Zion doesn’t have the plague. Back to CJ starting PG?

CJ
Herb
BI
Zion
Missi

Well, I don't know if Willie is ready to start Missi over Theis just yet, though we all know that it's coming eventually.

Otherwise, yes, I feel sure that will be starting group until Trey gets back. Who knows after that?

Jose is going to have to step up.

Yeah, for sure. And I’m ok with that. As long as they push towards Missi getting the most minutes. And ideally eventually closing games.

Zion’s got to be back for Friday, right?

He was ill on Tuesday… so unless he’s throwing up and shitting through the eye of a needle… 4 days to recover should be more than fine! =|

We’re also going to need Hawkins to really help carry the bench scoring. But we’re so deep, we should still have three 20 point per game starters and a first team all defense. Miss anyone else, like Zion resting, and it gets bleak a bit.

Anyone who doesn’t find this funny isn’t a Pels fan.

So basically we are essentially the same lineup as last year now but slightly worse? Too funny

I was pleasantly surprised by Missi. Just wanted to add some positivity to this depressing thread.
