Yeah, you can say 3 years later that Ja is alot closer to Zion that originally thought, but 3 years ago at draft time there's not a single person that would take Ja over Zion, and if they say that now they're lying.

know I’m gonna get roasted, but don’t extend this dude. Just trade his arse. We don’t need to be bent over a barrel again like Toní.
The one thing Toni did was not bend us over a barrell
BI, Lonzo, Hart, tons of 1st round picks
We got a fricking great haul from the Lakers for Toni

quote:Right, and really the only reason to take Ja retroactively is Zion's health. That is important obviously, but people keep acting like Ja has also been better on the court, he hasn't.
If you question the pick of Zion over Morant….literally ever…..you’re clueless.
Griffin would have been fired on the spot and rightfully so.
Zion is better than Ja. The Pelicans when Zion plays have been better than the Grizzlies when Ja plays.
The Grizzlies are exactly as good with Ja off the court as they are with him on the court, and that's with 3 years of data piling up now. The Pels have a huge drop off when Zion is off the court.

On court Zion is hall of fame shite
It's everything else that's fricked

We beat the brakes off of the blazers in the playoffs and that fricker quit on the team before the next season started. That’s bending us over a barrel. We could have taken another step and he couldn’t get visions of LeBoo’s dick out of his mouth.

its about ja ,ingram and crew. ja,jrue, ingram, hart, jj and crew would of had us in the playoffs the bubble season. trade jrue for picks and players.. plus a whole bunch of memphis picks from zion trade..lakers picks..
ja,ingram, hart plus memphis picks,,lakers picks, picks from jrue trade,, use the picks right and we would have a better team today while zion would be hurt in memphis right now...

You are assuming Memphis was looking to burn a bunch of picks to move from Ja to Zion.

And then we would have lost Jrue for nothing after that, so how would that have been ideal?

Memphis is 4-0 since the ja injury. Speaks a lot to the quality of guys on that team.
We would be 0-4 on the other hand.
We would be 0-4 on the other hand.

You should look at who they've played against and the players that were missing missing the opposing team, and ask yourself if that's really impressive.

Dallas without luka/porzingis
Okc without SGA
Toronto without OG
Sacramento
Not world beaters, however... We still lost to some albatross of teams.

OKC without SGA, Giddy and Favors
Dallas is literally Luka, sometimes Porzingas and a bunch of nothing
Pels beat either one of them without Zion AND Ingram, and maybe even without Val.
Toronto win might be their best one, but then again no-one really knows what they are this year
Kings are up and down this year, their coach has already been fired, and half their players don't look like they even care.
Not sure what albatross of team we have lost to this season, everyone we've played has pretty much been healthy with the exception of Clips missing Kawhi and Dallas missing Porzingas for one game.

Dudes wearing rockets colors when we play rockets

Our colors are primarily red too. But yeah, that is not a flattering look for him. I'm sure it's just really baggy. But that is hard to defend. This is our lives as fans for awhile..
