Amazing salary dump and Turner for pick 4. I'm so down
thats not a salary dump
Turner signed a 4/$72M extension in October

I think have to still be interested in Brogden with Zo still being so raw, I just don’t know if we’ll be able to afford him in this market. Seems a lot of teams have interest in him at around 18-20 mil and idk if we’d be willing to do that. Might be smarter to go after someone like niko, and sign Payton to a cheap contract.

And if we trade for guys we get their bird rights

Kind of a “duh” because that is the weakest part of our roster right now.
well there is FA.
I would love to get Turner, but there's a bunch of FA capable centers that you don't have to break the bank on.
Ed Davis is a rebounding and defensive machine. He opted out of his contract and is looking for a multi year deal. not like he's getting $15M/yr or anything.
I'd rather sign Davis or Dedmon, or Cauley-Stein, or Noel, then trade #4 to ATL for 10 and their 2020 first. Sign Jaxson Hayes and you'll be fine at center for the foreseeable future. You pay a guy like Davis or Dedmon some money for 3 years, let them go, then you're ready to resign Hayes. that also gives him some time to be groomed and work on his shot, while watching high motor guys play the 5.
I would rather #10, future first, and signing Davis/Dedmon, than Turner/#18, even though i like Turner.

For Solo & 4 Id do any of the following:
Suns - Warren & 6
Pacers - Myles & 18
Hawks - 8 & 10

Not a straight dump but I mean finally rid of the Solomon millstone

I’d say that’s a salary dump haha 2 players who have zero value for a starting center who will play 30 minutes a game. We’re in the hole on the money as it stands.

Missing a season due to injury is slightly different than missing a season due to causing an international incident.
What’s the story here?
I must’ve missed this. International incident?!?!?
What did he do (allegedly)?

Wrong Ball brother.
I was thinking of the one who played for UCLA who got detained in China for shoplifting.

I will say tho, you’d have to pay Turner 18 mil/ur, then Ingram is gonna want similar money at least next year, plus Jrues contract. It starts to add up here a bit

Ed Davis
Any chance if we acquire him we can give him #23?

Tried to steal Louis Vuittons in China

There's like 30mil between the cap and the luxury tax line. That's where bird rights become really important. Plus Gayle is willing to spend
Posted on 6/17/19 at 3:11 pm to LosLobos111
They're Rouis Vuittons in China.

Jrue at 26
Turner at 18
Ingram at 18
I wouldn’t consider that bad at all with how much contracts are increasing yearly.

I was using what he said, what do you think it’ll be? 22?
Posted on 6/17/19 at 3:31 pm to scutfarcus
the cap is projected to be like 114- 115MM in 2020.
25% of that is 28.5- 29MM

How would you guys feel about Solo/4 for Turner/18
That's what Simmons was suggesting during his podcast with Russillo. I would do that in a heartbeat, but even with the upcoming dilemma of having to pay Sabonis next year, I don't know why Indy would do it.

Indiana would need to love Garland in order to do that.
