I think we can use a daily rumors thread through Thursday as each leak doesn't need it's own thread.

From Mark Stein:

quote:

Milwaukee is offering draft compensation this week in hopes of finding a team willing to take on the contract of Tony Snell or Ersan Ilyasova via trade, league sources say, as the Bucks seek to create added flexibility to retain elite status in the East

I wonder what they are willing to give to take Ilyasova into space.

Me too. I like him as a bench big a lot if we also get draft compensation.

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson has his QO declined

Woj:

After Brooklyn declines to make a qualifying offer, F Rondae Hollis-Jefferson will become an unrestricted free agent, league sources tell ESPN. Hollis-Jefferson, 24, defends multiple positions well. For now, Nets have $46M in cap space.

Snell - $11m next season, $12m player option for 2020-2021.

Ersan - $7m/ season for 2 seasons

Milwaukee picks- 2019 first (can’t convey until after drafting), 2024 first, 2022-2025 seconds.

Unsigned players - Three players drafted in the 90s who will never come over to the NBA

If we want Ersan, we may end up getting a 2024 first out of it.

One was theirs. The rest were from the Wizards and Nuggets IIRC.

That second season for Ersan is not guaranteed until after the 2020 draft.

Then we aren’t getting a 2024 first for it.

More seconds plus Ersan isn’t a bad deal for some cap space.

I want to be the dumping ground for the next 2 years...go youth movement and get as many future assets as possible. God that sounds weird saying about the Pels.

I think we can safely guess that three of those are Phoenix, Chicago, and Atlanta.

Who is number 4, Washington?

So we are trading everything we just got from LA for Beal?

I believe OKC and Utah were interested. In Garland particularly.

I'm fine with moving #4 for a guy the quality of Beal, but I wouldn't do it for someone much less than that.

Okc seems strange

They want him as a 2?

They definitely need a shooter
