I mean it’s good but it was garbage time.

A week ago, NAW went for 37. Now he can’t make shite.

Hard to read much into it

It's not just the points, it's how he looks in the minutes he's played this season. He's poised, makes good decisions, and looks like he belongs out there. He should be getting more run.

Garbage time or not he did it in a variety of ways, layup, floater, catch and shoot 3, step back 3. It definitely seems like he's "earned" more minutes.

I wouldn't score shite in garbage time. Those guys are still playing, the end of the bench guys will play hard because they are trying to get minutes and money.

WTF is this?

Admits he looks good every time he plays. Wont put him out there though.

That was definitely a puzzling response by SVG.

Sounds like "Kira has to pay his dues." Trading just JJ probably isn't enough.

There's no excuse for not giving Kira any minutes. No mother fricking excuse at all. In terms of that, SVG is failing big time in that. He needs to be playing 10-20 minutes a game easily.

So sad. But at least Kira not playing will allow me to pick up his rookie Pels cards for relatively cheap. That's the only positive I can take away. BS man he looked fantastic tonight. Provides a spark to the lineup and brings energy to the floor. That's the type of player you need to put in when the team looks dead like in the 2nd quarter.

Well, it's clear that the future so far is BI, Zion and Kira

Agreed that this sounds like a pile of shite. Obviously the weight isn't killing him when he's out there (though he does need to bulk up a little), and the age doesn't fricking matter one bit.

If he looks good playing then he is playing good. You play players that are playing good.

I was all behind SVG to start the season but if this is his attitude, he needs to get the frick. Short benches, bad rotations, and too much leash for some players while giving others barely any.

Either he's on that Byron Scott "Don't play rookies" kick, or he's featuring Lonzo, Bledsoe, and JJ so we can trade them sooner and free up tons of minutes for Kira post-deadline.

...which is like a week away? Got damn.

Cool fricking story Stan. I guess that means you wouldn’t have played Ja last year because he was too light??

Kira gets in and CREATES shots. He’s already the best shot creator on the team.

I wouldn't doubt it. He probably ran out of shite to say and just said something stupid. It's increasingly harder to come up with excuses to explain why he is rotting on the bench. The only plausible explanation is to play the trade pieces.

NAW played 32 minutes tonight. Redick was a DNP. Lewis should easily gotten a couple of minutes when the game was still in play.

No, I think Stan is old school and honestly believes in "paying dues" unless you're a top 3 pick level talent. I think the only reason Jaxson is 2nd string is because Hernan Gomez and Melli are terrible.

Think he means he is tiny.

Probably wants him bigger on the defensive end

It's dumb. His basketball iq is one if the highest on the team.

It's also dumb because Kira hasn't looked over matched physically like you would fear at his weight in the few minutes he's gotten. He's not afraid to body up opponents and even stood his ground well enough against Paul George when PG was trying to back him down.
