If Monty didn’t like Ayton odds are Willie won’t either and Willie ain’t afraid to not play the starting center. Not to mention when was the last time a guy with the right tools but wrong mentality worked out for us?

I predict lots of melting when we trade BI to the Kings. Lots will "crown" the kings.
I think it would be a horrible trade for SAC. They have no bigs outside Sabonis and that's a soft arse team.
Adding a physically and mentally weak guy like BI isn't helping them.
Their problem wasn't scoring it was defense and toughness. BI solves nothing there.

The fact that the "rumor" report is now like 7 hours old without any payoff yet, tells me this deal likely won't happen and probably was never going to happen.
Could be someone from the Pels leaking that to Woj in hopes of getting more teams to call about BI.

It didn't come from Woj. It came from a local kings radio guy. So I don't put too much stock into it since it's not a reputable national guy.

I'm talking about it from the kings perspective. I don't see how Ingram helps them.
I'd happily take a bunch of SAC picks for him because that team is going nowhere.
They have two no. 2s and aa t to add a no. 3. And they're soft as shite. Ingram is the last thing they need

Agreed. I don’t see Kings making playoffs with Grizzlies coming back healthy and Lakers having a new HC. You can’t count out Warriors and Rockets either.

Exactly why I want to trade with them. They are historically a horribly run franchise. If they are trying to give you assets and picks for one of the biggest pussies in the league then you take it and run. Those picks will turn into gold.
This isn’t the lakers that are a FA destination or the Bucks that have Giannis. This is the kings and they want to trade for Brandon Fricking Ingram. They made the playoffs once and are still just as stupid as ever. If they had really turned a corner they wouldn’t be going after BI

I’m not trading BI to the kings without getting Devin Carter back. One of my favorite guys in the draft. He’ll make up for the loss of Dyson.
Barnes, Huerter, Carter and 2 1sts.
Then flips Barnes or huerter plus the picks for Allen

So, you don't think a local Sacramento reporter would have the best sources within the Kings?

I'd Ike to keep Huerter. Buy low on a guy who had a bad year

Maybe I missed it, but another guy that might be useful as a salary throw in from the Kings is Trey Lyles. He’s under contract for $8M in 24-25. 6ft 10, stretch big. Basically a better version of Matt Ryan.

Better be a 3rd team involved. If we trade BI for fricking Harrison Barnes, I will have the melt of all melts

If tweet fails to load, click here. The deal is pretty simple. Barnes, Huerter, Carter and 2 1sts
Flip those 2 1sts to Ainge for Kessler, or send Huerter and the 1sts out for Allen, or straight swap of Huerter for WCJ or Stewart.
I think Trajan may jump at adding Huerter’s shooting to a team that has none. The key is finding that third team, then roll all of that into the Murray trade

Yeah I've always been a fan of huerter. He had a bad year last year but has otherwise been a pretty solid player. I think he would fit really well off the bench and we could then move CJ if we can and not miss CJ's shooting that much.
My dream finish to the offseason would be to flip BI for Barnes, huerter, carter and 2 1sts.
Move CJ to Detroit for Isaiah Stewart. Detroit still has a ton of cap space and want to improve this year. They're in dire need of shooting and vet leadership and thats where CJ comes in.
Flip Barnes and the kings 1st to CLE for Allen.
Murray/Carter/Jose
Herb/Hawkins/Reeves
Trey/Huerter/Ryan
Zion/Stewart
Allen/Stewart/Missi
You still have movable contracts and all your own picks if a star comes available that you want

Why is everyone obsessed with Huerter?? CJ is better, Trey is better, Herb is better, Hawk we have to find out.
Unless we are trading Jose for Heurter to be our backup PG this is fricking terrible. We can't maximize 1 or 2 players if you add Heurter and i think we taken step back replacing CJ for Heurter.
Just take picks and run at this point
Also it clearly says we want Barnes aka backup PF/ SF. Just like if we traded with Philly we would want Tobias. We don't need or have a spot for Heurter or any other SG. Same thing with Strus/ Allen. Strus doesn't end up here....

We’re not trading CJ and BI in the same offseason.

We might. Christian Clark said on his pod that its a real possibility theyre both gone. The pels tried to put CJ in the Murray deal but the hawks didnt want him. Clark said CJs contract is looked at as a negative contract around the league
