This could be wishful thinking, but the likes of an Eric Bledsoe at PG could take this team to the next level. Definitely a contender if the numbers would work out.

If one more person mentions Mirotic it's gonna be some furniture moving. The way he played off of AD and AD played off of him last year is what carried this team down the stretch. He is an upgraded Anderson. With him we have 3 Big men who are flexible and can shoot from outside. I'm fine with moving Moore, Clark, Aj, Hill and anyone outside of Miller, Jrue, Jackson.

Assuming Randle can play down low and on offense like we wanted from boogie, I do not want to lose him or Niko.

Shooters can be found, look at golden state's bench year in and year out. We can find a 3rd guard to replace Moore.

You need to hope diallo shows up and does well as Milwaukee needs bigs.

I don't know that it's fair to compare the development and FA recruiting abilities of Golden State to ours. Kind of a different situation they have going on over there...

You wouldn't move a third big for a starting 3? Don't get me wrong, I like the three man rotation of Davis, Randle, and Mirotic, but Middleton would probably add more to the team because you could have Middleton/Davis/Randle on the court to close out games. I don't think you can close with Mirotic/Randle/Davis.

I would move Mirotic for Middleton in a hot second

I love Niko but a stretch 4 is much easier to find that a long athletic 3 who can score and defend. We've spent like a decade trying to fill that hole. I guess Ariza was the closest thing we've had and his shooting wasn't as good here as it was once he left.

I mean it more like there are minimum guys that play only 20mpg at most and can contribute.

They can be found, we can be a playoff team and find guys like that next year as well.

They will go to Golden state over us, obviously, but there's a few offenses that are a shooters dream. We are definitely one of them.

Middleton would be great; I doubt they trade him after losing Parker. The Bucks don't need Mirotic, they just signed Ilyasova for 3 years 21 mill.

If we could get him and keep Mirotic, that’d be a fantastic fit

You would pass on a chance at Middleton if it meant trading Darius Miller or Frank Jackson??? Are you high

I mean, I get what you're saying, but I can't think of many guys that contribute 20 minutes per game, on a playoff team, make the minimum, and make a positive contribution to that team.

I don’t know if our assets are good enough to lure Middleton while not having to give up Moore or Mirotic. But man if they could pull that off with a 1st, Diallo, and someone like Miller or Hill that would be a definite win for us, just don’t know what Milwaukee’s vision right now.

Here is a look at Milwaukee's roster as it stands today. They have a lot of guards IMO.

Guards:

Bledsoe, Brogdon, Sterling Brown, Delly, DiVincenzo, Jennings

Wings:

Middleton, Snell, Giannis, D.J. Wilson

Bigs:

Lopez, Henson, Maker, Ilyasova, Zeller

Nick young available?
33 yrs old.
Wants mle 5 million

In 20 minutes gives you 10 points. One rebound falls in his lap. Maybe 1 assist.

Pels wanted him once.
He was favourite of Gentry.

Deal was agreed, but Dells withdrew after Rondo gave him positive feedback.

Never again.
Also he is worth minimum at best.

I wanted Middleton when he was hurt. I'd trade them whatever the hell they want to get him. Obviously I'd love to keep Niko and Randle, but if it takes one of them, and Moore, I'd do it in a heartbeat.

You seem to be pretty well connected to the Pelicans Pawel. Can you add any thoughts of what you think of Middleton as a player and if he is a real possibility and what would it take to get him?

Appreciate it BallHawk. They are pretty guard heavy. Their team will be centered around Giannis for years to come so I wonder who they see as guys for the long term. Bledsoe and Middleton are good players. The rest appear to be role players.
