Let's wait on the picks. If we get lightly protected picks from a time frame where Giannis possibly would have left the Bucks, it might not be that bad. But, yeah, on the surface it feels like if this is the best deal they should have kept Jrue and tried again at the deadline.

New Orleans is nearing completion of a deal to send G Jrue Holiday to Milwaukee for Eric Bledsoe, George Hill and what's described as "significant" draft compensation, sources tell ESPN. Teams are still working through the picks in trade.

Yuck....I thought we’d at least get a decent pick back

We are stacked with picks. At some point you will have too many young players and no way to develop them all. You have to bring in vets at some point to help the kids become pros, or you will become Sacramento/Atlanta. Bledsoe and Hill are proven guys and damn good players. "Regular Season Bledsoe" has proven he can play at an allstar type level. Bledsoe and Hill will help us win games and that's something we haven't done a lot of lately.

One would have to imagine that two out of Zo, Hill, and Bledsoe will be traded down the road.

The players we got in return have multiple years left on their contract. They have to be on the move and the Bucks probably gave us some insane draft compensation.

It has been reported previously that most teams saw Bledsoe as a negative, so who will want him? On the surface, that is an absolutely terrible trade. Hopefully there is more to it or Griffin just made another Anthony Bennett type mistake.

Not real pleased with this unless the draft compensation is significant. Useful vets, but not good contracts. we take on longer term money.
