The one negative about this trade is Jrue cuts the cap space down to about $6.5 million (going from my head, but $15 + $2.5 (Noel) - $11 (Jrue) = $6.5 million) But it's cap space well spent IMO.

you did not just compare jrue holliday to deron williams or CP3......both of those guys are once in a lifetime PG's holliday is a guy who put up numbers on a bad team. CP3 and D-Will went to bad teams and made them winners, Holliday didn't

All star is pretty meaningless. Lots of random
Guys are all stars.

Jrue isn't nearly as good as he's being made out to be IMO. He's turnover heavy and inefficient. He's a good player but we gave up a ton to get him IMO.

Dell and Monty are trying to win now and get extensions, That's what this is IMO.

Already a good draft for the Knicks. Jrue Holiday is traded out of conference. Knicks could never guard him.
Every reporter on twitter loves this trade for us, while some of our fans are complaining about not getting some guy thats never played a college.

PLUS, if our season went to shite, WE'D STILL GET WIGGINS with the 1st pick.

Slam dunk trade

Tyson Chandler/D West are much better players than what Philly has had. Utah was pretty much a .500 or better team save for 04/05 when they fell apart

Well we haven't had one of those random guys in a couple years.

While the 200 pound Nerlens Noel and his bum knee plus some mystery guy for next year would have made us better than the 86 Celt's right?

@ESPNSteinLine: Protection on New Orleans pick to Philly in the Nerlens Noel/Jrue Holiday is 1-to-5 in 2014 draft, sources tell ESPN

I'm a novice when it comes to this, but with the history of injuries that go from bad to worse in N.O., Nerlins scared me. Trade makes sense.

Lets hope Jrue is more accepting of playing here than Gordon.

Thats really nice.

If we're completely awful next year, we'll keep our pick.
