I think people are underestimating what a difference Jrue will make. Add a Martell Webster type and you have a legit starting 5 and a very solid bench. If Gordon is healthy making the playoffs just got a lot more likely.

I don't think many people on this board realize how good Jrue is.

And how much better we just got in the short term.

this....the 6th pick in a weak draft and the 15th pick next year

OR

a star PG, under contract, 23 years old...exactly the player the Pelicans need.

OK, u clowns who keep crying about losing a pick NEXT year need STFU! We just landed an all star PG who will be better than any PG that comes out next year......and we got him this year! I mean, damn, how retarded can you be?!

Our team just jumped right into the playoffs with this trade. Maybe not top 5 but at least one of the 6-8 spots. We just skipped two or three steps of the rebuild!

Im sorry but Jrue Holliday is a stud but we essentially traded

Nerlens Noel and a lottery pick for him

that's a steep price, he better bring it.

This deal is fricking crazy good

I hate the stupid draft culture that has grown on message boards in the last 10 years. People get ibssessed with potential.
But but but but why would you want a 23 year old all star point guard when we MIGHT be able to draft a good player next year?

The strength of next year's draft is the top 3 which we're protected on. We probably lost Mitch McGary, Willie-Cauley Stein, or some shite not worth crying over.

No way, you can't trade Gordon without attempting to let them try and make a Gordon Holliday backcourt work
