I don’t get this at all. I know we need a backup big, but Smoove? Come on. Hell bring Terrance Jones back before this.

This is the injury exception roster spot and this team is still right up against the tax. A Terrence Jones isn’t leaving a few million in China for a few hundred thousand to be a Pel for a month. This is scraping the bottom of the barrel so I’m not sure what people are expecting.

This is a Diallo is not ready signing. Smith shouldn't see any time at the 3.
Davis is listed as day-to-day so I don't expect him to miss more than 1-2 games tops. Smith could get 10-15 at the 4.

Doesn't this mean AD has to miss more than 3 games? I thought you had to have a player out for 3+ games in order to get the injury hardship roster spot?

frick I hate our situation.
Josh Smith is just a selfish, bad player that can't shoot FTs. He does have talent but he kills ball movement. I've come to terms with it now. I just don't like the guy.

We are screwed in the short term without Davis regardless. Smith can at least do a few things decent. He has a relationship w rondo and cousins, too. Maybe a combo of that and being out of the league for a year reels him in a bit

Do we have a legit AD update? Like are we expecting him to miss a long time? I have read day-to-day, which doesn't sounds like he'd be out for long, if at all. But with our training staff who knows.
