Geauxldilocks appeared, said some dumb shite, was proven completely wrong, and then admitted he is indeed a loser/ coward. Probably the most honest thing they've said.

Justin. You have turned into one of the most miserable fans bro. I get your frustration, but you're ability to have a conversation on this site has to improve man.

Giannis might be changing his mind on where he wants to go. Nah let’s stick with Zion

I still can't believe we thought trading CJ for an extra year of Jordan Poole was a good idea.

But also, I can believe it. Pels life!

Poole allows us to take back +$40mil in a trade for next season. Currently having CJ would give us (-$30mil). So yes, a +$70mil swing in moveable assets was a very very good idea.

It wasn't a question of having CJ or Poole. It was about having $40mil salary space or not having any.

The other option would be to give CJ another 2-3 year extension at 25-30mil which would have been a bad idea then and still a not great idea now.

CJ/ Poole are pass throughs. If trading Poole lands us another Bey type player or glue piece then it was a successful move. It already was successful by getting Bey and having the option to upgrade more.

It's NEVER a good idea to take on 2 years of a negative value high paid contract for 1 year of a contract that is not negative value.

Are you going to pretend after 1 great playoff game that CJ is a great player again? The Knicks don’t have a good defensive G. We saw what happened when CJ went up against Cason Wallace and Lu Dort. Sub 25% from 3. He also can’t defend worth a lick.
And I’m not defending Poole in any way, he sucks. Bey is great though and I’d make that deal again.

I don't have to, I was proven right about a million times that CJ was better than most on this board gave him credit for.

And I'm still being proven right about that, so nah, the case is already closed on that one.

Do you know who you are asking that question to? You are talking to CJ's biggest fan and lover. CJ would go 2-14 and he'd argue injuries like it changed the fact that the dude had the worst night of his life. CJ has never had a bad game in Shel eyes.

I remember conversations going exactly like this:
"Damn CJ looked terrible tonight, he was 2-14".
"His hand is hurt"
"Ok, he had the worst game of his career"
"Doesn't count because of his hand"
"But he kept shooting instead of passing"
"Shooters shoot, blame his hand"

I miss the good ole days of petty arguments between Bronc, Teddy, Shel, and I.

It’s crazy people want to trade CJ and now he does good against Brunson, everyone saying the trade was bad. It’s like some of you guys have short term memory. We needed change and I am glad Joe made that trade.

CJ is a better version of Poole he is good enough that you have to play him.

We need to look at the trade as CJ for Bey and Poole was to make the money work. Taking a 2nd year of Poole is worth getting Bey long term. Plus Pooles contract end this upcoming season. It is not we are stuck with him long term.

Salty from knowing I was correct about CJ and you were dead wrong.

I get it. Hopefully you get over it and join the rest of us who saw the obvious.

Why do people worry about NBA salaries? As long as they are not preventing moves it doesn’t matter. The trade/free agency rules benefit carrying a higher payroll that is right at the tax.

It really isn’t the fans’ money.
