I wouldn't be shocked if this is to sign a Kwame Brown for $6m as backup C. Then some $ left over to fill out the roster.

Wishful thinking: Iguodala, but I don't know if the money works. Zach Lowe teased some big info at Philly at the end of his Court Vision column today- possible trade?

Vasquez
Gordon
AI
Anderson
Davis

With Rivers and Smith coming off the bench is an intriguing lineup.

Brown/Mahinmi and Ronnie Brewer are the most obvious targets, and probably could be had for 1 year deals if Demps wants to preserve cap space for next season.

We'd have to sign one of them in the next 3 or so days right? Because once we match Gordon we wont be able to sign them right?

Not necessarily. Can still S&T Belli as Clippers need a S&T to fit him on their roster (as they do not have the cap room to sign him outright).

So I guess there isn't any actual info out there about what we plan to do?

I think the point of renouncing rights is that they no longer have any ties to your team, so they become like UFA's that belong to no team. If we signed Beli we couldn't trade him until December.

You can trade any signed player by himself in a deal without the 60 day restriction. You just cannot combine him with other players.

The only thing is $10m is all we have to offer and the Nuggets probably match that.

In terms of anything. Career 40% from the field. I'm not being sarcastic, just looking at stats and wanting to know what he plays like to make him a candidate.

Nuggets have three capable centers in Mosgov, Koufos and McGee.

I feel we can trade for one of those players.

He has proven he can produce when given playing time. His attitude is often questioned, though.

His career per 36 line

14 points
7 rebounds
5 assists
1 steal
1 3pg
40% FG
68% FT

Can play the 3 and spell the 2 if need be.

FIFY

Would love to hear some sort of rumor about us goin after McGee, but I would be content to just wait on Elton Brand and try signin him on the cheap.
