Perfect. Waiting for details now.
For some reason this is less than I was expecting in my head.

Seems like it, but that's the full max. 31.6 mil per year

Ingram passed on a more modest extension offer a year ago after arriving from Lakers in the Anthony Davis trade. He counted on a bigger role to elevate his performance and earning power, and it did. Ingram earned a Western Conference All-Star berth and now cashes in on max deal.
Interesting, I was always under the impression both sides wanted to wait to see how he came back from his clots.

Apparently we offered him an extension last year. Wish he had taken it.

For this season?
We are knocking right at the luxury tax, which is 132 million

Still no word on a player option on year 5?
Posted on 11/24/20 at 1:49 pm to Hazelnut
Still waiting to hear, typically the agent would have relayed that message, because player options are a "plus" for the player.

No word yet, but I'm sure he was able to get one, especially being there's no chance for it to increase to supermax level.

Apparently there are clauses that can bring his total contract to $195 million. I think those potential clauses would be counting against the cap as well if I remember correctly
ETA: my bad wrong person. Woj didn't specify and I thought he was talking about Ingram

I have seen that about Bam and other player's maxes but not BI's yet.

They called them escalator clauses which to me SOUNDS different than incentives. We did run into an issue with Jrue's contract where he had unlikely incentives for about $5 million more than his salary, but those incentives counted when you see if you hit the Tax Apron and are limited on transactions like S&Ts and only having the tax payer MLE.
