If you’re mad about lack of trades, blame ownership that wont dip into luxury tax.

Nothing will change unless Gayle realizes she has to dip into the luxury tax. The Pels will always be second fiddle to the Saints and that team is having trouble re-signing season ticket holders. The value of the Pels has increased 8x what it was bought for, but all anyone wants to focus on is Carr.

Getting rid of Graham just pushes us back an additional year from having to go into luxury tax and they’re hoping everyone is healthy for a playoff push.

we’ll see about that because it’s gonna have to happen in a year or two. Not 100% convinced

Im not mad at all. Feels like many wanted to stay put before the deadline.

I dont want them making a deal for the sake of grabbing headlines.

Yea, it sucks the PHO got Durant but dont make bad deals because of it

I will say, I used to just take it on faith her words were true, but I am starting to think the whole "we will go into the tax for a contender" means more that maybe she'd float an extra season in the tax if we get there, but that's it.

I’m with you here. We’re 1 of 2 teams in the NBA that hasn’t gone into the luxury tax, and I’m not sure if or when it’ll happen.

We have the makings of a super team as the roster is currently constructed. It would have been nice to grab another impact player but there isn’t an apparent need.

This trade deadline shows you how much faith the Brass has in the players on this team.

BI said it best, when this team is at full health the league “can’t do nothing with us.”

Ill be mad if we don't re-sign core guys down the road.

I dont care much about perception. Graham needed to go and now we have people saying its a bad look.

No one wants to spend that amount of cash for a first round exit. If you are going to throw that coin doin do it to keep guys like Murphy, Dyson and whoever.

Next year we're almost certainly going to be in the tax, right?

How do we know what we need to upgrade when we haven’t had BI/Zion/CJ healthy for a playoff series?

The luxury tax has absolutely nothing to do with upgrading a player.

Well you’re assuming they’ll all be healthy in May.

I wouldn’t t either until the team can prove it’s healthy and make a run. No reason to this year or next until we have to extend our role players. It’s smart business….

What does this have anything to do with the day to day, year to year management of the roster?

Making a trade for the sake of making a trade is not the route to go down. The biggest hole on this roster is a rim protecting big, were there any that were available today that we just chose not to trade for?

Maybe, but I certainly would not bet on that.
