Could not do Texas team, no real reason as I am a Astros fan also but just can’t do spurs, rockets or Dallas. As a teen I loved charolette with mourning and Johnson. Funny how this is that team. So for discussion I have been thinking the same thing

No I wouldn’t go for Sonics.

No clue honestly. Suns, heat, just don’t know. The city of Boston I have visited twice and have been to the garden but the Celtics just don’t get me to the tv

I’d probably become a more casual observer of the sport and consume it similar to how I do other teams now.

Meaning I like basketball and the NBA generally, but I wouldn’t really have a permanent team or set of players I’d be rooting for. And I’d probably go from watching well over a hundred games a year between Pels and other teams to probably half that or less.

…Maybe Denver might be a shadow favorite because I partly grew up there and I like how that organization/team is run.

I would be done with the NBA. No team in NOLA and I am a fan of no team.

The better question is why would Gayle move the team to Seattle? And why would the league settle for a $300M relocation fee when they could get a $2.5B expansion fee?

The lady is very old and is probably going to pass in the next few years. What is the succession plan? Who gets it and do they want to keep it?

Its N.O. or bust for me. If we lose them, the League loses a viewer. Period. I root for no other but the Flock. You can admire other individual players on other teams, but I don't have 'another" team. They are all in the way and enemies of my happiness.
And thats how it should be.

I'd just remain an NBA fan like I was before we got a franchise.

Both the Saints and Pels will be put into a trust with a group, to include the church, that will control the assets.

Id probably stick around long enough to root for wherever CP3 is finishing his career but id most likely be done with the NBA overall.

I was a Bulls fan and Braves fan when growing up because that is what I could watch on TV. Little did I know as a kid I was watching Dynasties. I don't know how on earth I watched Baseball games as a kid, I can't make it through have an inning now, that crap is so boring. I guess I wouldn't become a fan of any one team, I would just want to watch the best players do their thing.

I would follow and root for Zion if team moves. But I would have no team allegiances. And I’d only watch games once his playoffs started.

… and I’d save a lot of money on season tickets

I would become a much more casual fan, but I'd probably pull for OKC or Memphis.

It would have to be a small market team, somewhat close geographically and have a roster or philosophy I like.

I love the way Sam Presti is doing things in OKC. I wish Griff was doing things the same way. They already have SGA and Poku, who are both young players who I think will be stars one day. SGA already is somewhat. They have the ammo to land two more superstars to play with them, or they could continue hitting on draft picks and do it organically. They have unlimited options and that makes me envious. That, along with their fan base and arena atmosphere, makes me respect them. I'd probably pull for them, but not be a hardcore like I am for the Pels.

I love this clusterfrick of a team.

I’d be done with the NBA and hope anyone with the organization never wins anything
