I'll be honest, I really haven't watched Kansas much this year and haven't seen them in the tourny yet.
With a weekend of tournament play in the books, what is the boards opinion on Ben McLemore as a possible draft pick for the Pelicans?

TIA

He's be absolutely abysmal in the tourney so far. IDK if it's bad enough for him to drop, but if he pulls similar performances in their remaining games he may not be such a lock for #1.

He went 0-9 from the field against UNC.

Fortunately for him, just about every lottery pick has looked like garbage in the tourney, with most of them getting bounced in the first round.

Trey Burke from Mich. is made himself so serious money this past weekend though.

Yea I wouldn't say that Mclemore is no longer #1 material, but he has had issues with disappearing at times throughout the season, and it certainly isn't helping his case when he's disappeared in the two biggest games of his college career.

That's been my thoughts on most of the top prospects so far.

he is right. the second rated player accordin to some sites only shots 40& from the field and 29% from the 3. Also only avergaes 4 assists a game

The story from the beginning was that this was going to be a weak draft, I'm really not sure why the narrative changed and we all of a sudden had a bunch of studs at the top of the draft.

It's pretty obvious that the entire media narrative changed around the time I created that thread about how the top available players tend to fit our needs. I'll go back and find it. I just wish guys like Bill Simmons would give me the credit I deserve.

What's the chances we can trade our pick for a first rounder next year with a team like the suns or bobcats?

Teams don't trade unprotected picks, the reason the TWolves pick we used on Rivers was unprotected was because the Clippers had been sitting on it for 5 years waiting for the protection to run out. If you want a relatively guaranteed pick in the next draft it probably would end up being 8 or higher.

the bullshite one year of college rule is screwing us over this draft. we could've started a dynasty with a top pick

All the skill in the world, but a world's worth of timidness. He should be taking games over, especially at this level of the tournament.

We'll see if he has an explosive game in the S16 and later, but I doubt it.
