I don’t follow college basketball much but I hear this is a bad draft on average with no real stars or good big men. Yeah JV is slow and has to come out for some matchups but I really feel like this team has the perfect chemistry and everyone knows their role. Naji is that dog off the bench everyone needs and he is becoming better and better on offense. I’d love to have a great young big like Walker Kessler but I don’t see that happening. Maybe JV takes a slight discount to stay? It’s well known he and his family love it in New Orleans and Jonas has been a much better rim protector this year than last seasons while still having a great offensive game for a man his size. He’s also ALWAYS available. I’d just hate to break this squad up when I think we are finally ready to make a serious playoff run.

We resign them in the off-season, that’s how you keep them.

Whether or not Gayle Benson wants to go over the luxury tax is the real question.

Cane's man needs to go ahead and pony up the cash to buy the Saints and Pels from her. She's clueless.

That empire is going to fall soon IMO. Way too expensive and small portions for an average product.

Cane's is never busy here.

Who out there that is an upgrade to JV? Jarrett Allen is now off the market. Walker Kessler is not getting moved. Myles Turner has been floated around by some- I don't think he's an upgrade.

If Canes will fail, it won't be any time soon.

Yeah that’s a crazy take lol. Not sure why we’re debating the Canes business on PT but there’s no shortage of fatties out there and Canes will fry your chicken extra crispy if you so desire. There’s a million Canes in Br and they always have lines

As the roster gets more expensive, the real question may be do you pay for a center at all?

A bunch of serviceable veteran guys will be on the market this summer--Mason Plumlee; Kelly Olynyk; Daniel Theis; Xavier Tillman; and so on + some younger upside guys--Jalen Smith; Goga Bitadze; Precious Achiuwa. So one strategy is to not invest allot of $ in a center at all and just get a guy who can give you 15-20 solid minutes behind Larry and keep Zeller.

Also, if you haven't caught any of Karlo Matkovic in the G-League, he looks ready to be brought up to the main roster. Athletic 6'10" guy with a smooth jumper, some post game and good hops and hands as a roll guy. I'd be surprised if you doesn't factor in the Pels plans as a cost-efficient option at the position.

LINK

Trade is an option if they decide to try and get an impact guy and Jonas is making a case as a valuable option for physical, inside play. I just don't know what kind of number he's pushing for. Anything over 10-12 million I think would be an overpay as he heads into his 30s...

I would offer Jonas 2 years $22 million. I think $11 million would be a good deal for both sides per year.

Canes will fail because the local store by my house isn’t that busy lololol.

They’ve become one of the 5 largest fried chicken chains in the country and are still the fastest growing one. They’re not going anywhere because you don’t like it as much as you used too.

With that being said Todd Graves would have to sell everything and find some investors to go on with him, never going to happen. And if it did he’d still be one of the “poorest” owners in the league, and in a couple years you wouldn’t like him the same way you don’t like Gayle Benson.

Just because he likes Theo Vonn doesn’t mean he’s would do a good job with the Pels, and by NB business owner standards he’s not that rich.

Graves will be worth 3-4 times what he is now by the time the teams become available for purchase.

It's the worst customer service I've ever seen and totally worth it every time.

I got lucky, about 1 year ago they opened a new Popeye's near me, and so far 1 year in, they still actually give good service.

We eat fast food once or twice a month, and I'd venture to guess 80% of the time it's Popeye's.

Family of 4, for 3 of us its' our favorite fast food, so my wife is screwed lol.

Not really, the owners don't buy the team outright in cash.

For instance Josh Harris just bought the commanders for 6 bill. His networth prior to that was only like 8 bill.

Todd Graves last valuation was at like 7.66.

Part of the charm of popeyes is that they do not give a frick, and they want you to know it

Plus, a lot of them aren't 100% owners.

They just own a majority so have final say in everything.
