Naji hits the deck a dozen times per game but he's out there each night. BI gets hit and he's out for have the season. Same with Zion. Kinda frustrating.

Naji hasn't taken a hit all season that looked half as bad as the BI foot injury.

This is Zion’s first injury this year you could say that about.

His first one was the bad fall he took in Utah, that’s unavoidable, any player gets hurt there. The second one is when he stepped on someone else’s foot, again unavoidable, part of the game.

This strain could be a result of us riding him to hard, hamstring strains happen, quite often.

To a lot of players. It's way more common and damn near every noticeable nba star has had them.

A lot of unlucky breaks this year. BI getting slapped by Naji, Z getting swatted by Clarkson and taking a nasty fall. And now Zion's Hammy. Not to mention McCollum's COVID.

I don't think we suffered anything major which we should be very thankful for. But these random arse injuries have been frustrating.

You need to look around the NBA and see the amount of players who are out or has already missed a extended period of time already.

The schedule screwed Zion 3 games in 4 nights in 3 different cities especially with Zion style of play dude gets hammered every possession.

As hard as it may be for some to believe, the Pels are only middle of the pack when it comes to losing key players to injury. Spotrac tracks "Cash Earned While Injured" which has it's flaws, but the Pels are 13th in this category. LINK

This graphic helps visualize it a bit, the size of the bubble is games lost by VORP.

Plenty of stars miss time with injury….Devin Booker misses lengths of time often.

This will always be an issue with Zion with the way he changes speed, second-jumps, etc..

BIs injury seemed about as freak as they come

It was a joke. Big Z is sexy now. Best shape of his career in my opinion. It’s just bad luck.

That’s all it does. Hell, I’m glad it’s only a hamstring for Zion. He doesn’t really have a history of that as opposed to feet/ankle injuries.

These things happen. Just tread water and stay in the top 6 until the ASB then we’ll get Z back and ride

The way Zion plays he’s just bound to end up injured a lot.

For comparison, a guy like Jokic will prob never get hurt due to his playing style, but Zion aerobics well always put him in harms way.

BI—idk. The way he plays—so slow and methodical—should lend itself to not being hurt as often. But he’s been hurt a lot throughout his career even before he got to the Pels.

Naji is built like a brick shite house. Hard to hurt someone like that. BI has always been prone to little things but never serious injuries. Zion is just a freak of nature. Men that big shouldn't be able to move that quickly so something is bound to give every now and then. But the time between those injuries are absolutely insane basketball. He’s the single most dominant player since Shaq in that Zion can get what shot he wants when he wants it. There’s no one that has the size and foot speed to match him when he wants to get to a spot on the court.

It's the NBA - the entire league is a MASH unit nowadays.

does it account for caliber of player? Because it seems to only be our best players getting hurt and missing time.

It accounts for pay, so the highest paid players show.

It has its flaws because Zion doesn’t make as much as Jonas, but it’s a decent way to show impact of a player

Gotcha. It’s nice we’re winning without them right now, but man, they will need to build some chemistry on the court together at some point.
To have CJ, BI, & Zion healthy from all star break to playoffs would be nice.
