OKC should be looking for picks. Not Jrue

They have more picks than anyone

I would trade Wiggins for Jrue any day of the week. There isn't a great difference between the two contracts.
With Jrue out we will see a much better Lonzo. You can't continue to play Ball alongside of Holiday.

I mean there Kinda is. Jrue has one more year on his contract making 26 mil. Then more than likely will decline his player option to get a longer contract but for lesser pay each year. You’re stuck paying Wiggins 30+ mil the next 3 years

Y'all aren't getting the point obviously..

Wiggins isn't winning us a championship

More draft picks are most likely not gonna win us a championship

We need to either trade all out for a star soon or we need to gain a few more pieces. I think either Lonzo and Redick get shipped out for more pieces to go along side Jrue, Ingram, and Zion. Or they are traded for another asset to package with Jrue to be more enticing in the future.

I think Jrue is either part of our future for the long run or would be the center piece for a 3rd star.

It’s a bad trade. You’re giving up 2 valuable assets for a 35 year old pg making 40+ mil each year for the next two years and a Late first round pick. I don’t mind getting Chris Paul but there better be more picks involved with that trade

IMO, Jrue for Paul is equal value, JJ isn’t going to be worth more than a mid/late first, with only 1 year left on his contract.

No but JJ and Darius contract could gain us a useful player.

We could send JJ, Miller, and #13 to Brooklyn for Lavert possibly.

Then you have LaVert, Jrue, Lonzo and several future 1st to package if needed. Point is we can turn Lonzo, Redick, Miller, and picks into valuable assets without using Jrue. Would you rather Jrue/ LaVert/ Lonzo or Andrew Wiggins to package for a star if needed?

No way you get Levert for that.

How about this.

GSW: Jrue, JJ
Nets: Wiggins, Looney, future 1st (which team though?)
Pels: LeVert, Dinwiddie, Allen, #2

LeVert, Dinwiddie, and Allen are all better than anything they’re receiving so no.

Nets wouldn't do it. If you want to make interesting bring in the Pacers for a 4 way trade and you might have something but highly unlikely.

If the Nets want another star it would enticing to be in a 3 way trade with them. Our organizations are pretty close and a lot of teams would pickup the phone for packages of Jrue, Lonzo, Redick, Dinwiddie, Lavert
