I’m no doctor but he seems to be ahead of schedule in his recovery. We really need Dejounte to bounce back from this injury because otherwise that is an awful contract on our books for the next 3 years

That is a super depressing picture. The guy should be living in a gym. His career is on the line this year. It's his last chance to be a franchise player. If/when he fails, he'll never be a number 1 option again. We'll be able to get something for him. Somebody will think that they can turn him around. But it's going to be pennies to his potential worth..

He can get fatter.
Our literal only hope is him somehow making it to the trade deadline healthy with minimum games missed. Max his value before inevitable injury, trade him for hopefully 2 firsts and a starter.

I know it sounds stupid but almost every NBA player posts clips of them working out or in the gym during the offseason yet Zion hasn’t done that once in his 6 years here. It’s because he doesn’t give a shite about winning or getting better so he doesn’t train. It’s why he’s the exact same player in year 7 that he was in year 1. He’s gotten by his whole life on his freakish athleticism and is too lazy to work on any other aspect of his game
