And you are down voted.

Maybe this trade needs to happen because most Pelicans fans are desperate and stupid to not realize how terrible a move like that would cause us.

Makes sense how this FO continues to get away with this shite.

The board and fanbase in general is retarded. Downvotes typically mean you are more right than wrong over here.

I got downvoted for saying Sabonis isn't a stretch 5. Checks notes: shot 18% from 3 last year. Checks notes again: 34% career 3 point shooter on 1 attempt a game. Checks notes again: I actually watch basketball games and I've never seen a defender guard Sabonis outside of the paint. If Sabonis launches a 3, that's a great defensive possession.

I don't understand what the Bucks are doing right now. I'd tell Giannis we will work with him, but still taking the deal that works best for us.

From all the deals I've seen, the best package is from the Blazers. Plus you get him out of the East. The trades I've seen included Sharpe, Henderson, Grant, all their swaps back and additional draft capital. That's going to beat any deal from an East team, as far as letting the Bucks rebuild.

Some will day that Giannis won't sign an extension with them. But he won't have a choice. There is no team with $60+M in cap space that he can go to or give him that 5th year. So they'll have him at least 2 years, till he can demand another trade. That team would be pretty loaded during that stretch (depending on how Lillard looks coming back). It's the best deal for both sides..

From what I’ve seen Portland doesn’t want to include Scoot, and they would also send those same assets for Brown.

And what you have read are fantasy trades made up by bloggers and writers. No one actually knows what is being offered.

If I had to guess: a trade involving us would likely look something like

Pels: Brown
Celtics: Giannis/Trey
Bucks: 6 firsts (4 Boston 2 NOLA) 3 swaps (2 Boston / 1 NOLA), salary filler

ETA: For our firsts with TM3 for Brown, I’d hope that would be Poole.

They still have more to offer than everybody else listed, especially if the Bucks want to reset/rebuild. I guess the hesitation is on trying to placate Giannis, and get him where he wants to go. I think that's a mistake..

Sounds like the most Pelican thing to do. Dump the fat slob for a proven winner. Zion is a loser.

Dumars is gonna trade Murphy for Isaiah Stewart and some junk and then talk about toughness, heart, blah blah blah.

Then Weaver is going to throw away insane assets to trade up in the draft for Ament because he's from the DMV.

A lot of talk that Atlanta could be where Brown ends up. I don't see the Pels putting together a package to get him.

Trey would be going to Milwaukee in that deal.
