You’re not getting Brown without sending out Trey.

He said one of the most enticing things to Milwaukee about Pels and Hawks is the young players. I would think it would be more like:

Bos: Giannis

Bucks: Poole, Murphy, Herb, Hawk, 27 Pels, picks from Boston

Pels: Brown, Turner

Pels give up Trey and Herb, but only one pick. Herb IMO would have equal value to Turner, so Trey and a pick gets you off Poole and Hawk and nets Brown basically. Herb could also go to Boston for something else, or Milwaukee could reroute him to another team for more assets. They can dump Poole at the deadline for more picks and a longer term shitty contract also.

If we are moving off Trey then it has to be for a shitload of draft picks

There’s no point in trading for win now moves and giving away our best or second best player

All the rumors are they’re looking at moving Trey for a win now player.

As much as we all love Trey, JB is 2 tiers above him as a player.

Hard disagree

JB does nothing for us long term except put us in purgatory

The only issue I have with Brown is the uncertainty of how well he'll do here with no spacing. Boston usually emphasize and prioritize spacing. That's not happening here with this roster construction or coaching staff. There's going to be very little spacing without Trey and Brown isn't going to be that 28ppg guy we saw last season.

Gee are we only allowed one move? Trade for jb. Trade for sabonis or another stretch 5. Karlo shown he can hit from 3. Yves delovp a shot. Fears shooter. Murray, bey, we can get spacing

I get that. But also it's a whole front office. Unfortunately all we can do is see if they actually will change or stay the same. Can't always turn around in one year. He's made a few hires this off-season already, let's just see.

so the Celtics get Giannis but the pels give up all the picks. Brilliant. You’d fit right in at the pels front office

Brown is 30 and makes double what Murphy does.

Would be an awful trade.

I would trade Murphy and salary ballast for Brown right now. There is no comparison between the two players, brown is far far superior on the court and in the locker room. There’s not a player in this league better suited to help turn this shitshow around than Jaylen Brown.

the three way trade posted above is stupid, but if there’s a way to get Brown without mortgaging draft picks then they should run to the phone and say yes, and include any player the Celtics or the Bucks want
