I would have liked that pick, but I’m please with Hawk. I didn’t realize he had some toughness to him.

So far, the way the draft went has been great for us. I think the way Hawkins has advanced and for what he brings to the team, he is the 2nd best player we could have taken, after only Wemby.

It’s been 12 games dude. Some of yall are so quick to put down a bunch of teenage players. Hawkins is 21, he better be more ready rn than dick and Whitmore

Moses Moody has been good when he's gotten the minutes. He looked awesome in their season debut and I thought this season was gonna be the one where he brokeout, but he's just not got the minutes yet to say he's broken out.

He's getting passed up by the rookie Podziemski. He still hasn't developed much of anything since hes gotten to the league and considering that he had the most potential of all the shooters in that class, you can't sit there and say that he's not a disappointment.

It's been 10-15 games.

If rooks were judged on such a small sample, Dyson would be a bust.

It's his 3rd year in the league. Same age as Hawkins. Guess who's better right now.

And the last time I checked, Dyson plays elite defense, is a strong rebounder, and a good assists to turnover ratio.

Hawkins was an absolute home run pick. Couldn’t have done better. Trey, Herb, Hawk, and Dyson are sensational role players. You really couldn’t ask for a much better group around BI and Zion. Maybe just a versatile rim protector

Hawkins, Dyson, Trey, and Herb were all home runs so far. Dyson was the highest drafted of that bunch at 8. That's a phenomenal run of scouting.

As for the second part, I think each one of those players has potential to be more than role players. Each has shown actual NBA starter potential in their young careers. It's also great that they all fit different roles, too. Now you just need a young big to fill out the best rookie-scale starting 5 in the NBA.

I was upset when Lively and Dick went right before us but now I am more than happy with Hawk. He is a winner and will be a player that gets better and better

First couple games of THIS season posters were saying we wasted a pick on Dyson and should have drafted Duren or mark Williams…..

So of course 15 gsmes in, posters are declaring rookie busts…..

I love Hawk but I wish we could’ve got Lively. He’s what this team needs
