Time is running out to show he can produce and entice trade offers this summer....

Yeah, suggests trade prep IMO. Seems pretty pointless otherwise.

1 extra game? Means nothing.

We're in the last week of the season. Back to back doesn't hurt him with the entire offseason to rest

It makes it easier to say "he was fine, we were just being overprotective in a lost season. "

I don't like the dude, but I would like to have a committed Gordon with an significant upgrade of talent around him. That's just me.

Thats true

I will say though, lost in all the "trade him" stuff, he's actually played much better and looked a lot healthier as the season has gone on.

Yep. Lakers game was the best I've seen from him this year.

Of course people were still bitching about him post game. He has a long way to go (no doubt rightfully so) before anyone cuts him some slack in this fanbase.

I missed most of the second half again, but the parts I saw he did look like he's getting that explosiveness back. That slip and dunk was badass.

Oh, and that tip-pass to Aminu should have been #1 on the Top 10, but Aminu wasn't expecting it and hesitated to go up for the oop. Seriously, that was the type of pass you usually see Lebron make to Wade or, less commonly, vice versa.

This is my feeling, too. He just isn't a very likable guy for whatever reason, but I don't think he's a bad guy by any means. I just think he's a bit sensitive. All that said, he's a very talented guy that could possibly produce at a very high level for us and I hate to give up on that.

He isn't a leader but I think the personality stuff is overblown. However, I feel like they've never fully embraced each other which has always made it feel like Demps resigned an asset rather than a cornerstone. Add that to driveman's inside info and dumping Gordon this summer seems pretty plausible.
