and it's about f'in time.

our guys have been getting hacked on every drive, every put back, every damn second chance.

honestly, there were prob 8-9 more fouls that were missed and should've led to more FTA.

if we keep being this aggressive, PHX won't win another game.

trying to be as objective as possible:

About 90% of the calls were legit. The Pelicans did not make the same stupid fouls in the paint. If a Suns player slipped loose driving to the basket, they let it be. Also, the Suns were looking for more jump shots this game.

I do slightly worry about refs giving them favorable calls and more FTs in game 5 to say “here now stop crying”

The Pels were playing so off their shooters they couldn't foul. Hell, ROAST BEEF CHOWDER got at least 6 free free throws.

There was one point in the second half for probably five possessions straight where they had Jose setting down screens on Ayton and Ayton fouled him every single time, and didn’t get a single call.

At least 8 their FTs were bad Pels fouls too. I think it was BI and Jaxson fouling Crowder on two 3s and a frustration CJ foul after a turnover when Pels were over the limit.

It’s gonna happen, 100%

Even though you could have easily called 20 more fouls on the Suns with the way they were constantly pulling some bullshite

It’s the Seattle Seahawks circa Richard Sherman days, foul all the time, whine about it in game and after, knowing the refs aren’t gonna call everything, and then will be susceptible to pressure from allegations of bias. So on net you get away with fouling while the other team gets called for ticky tack shite. Seahawks won a championship with it. Game 5 is gonna be a challenge

6 of the FTs they got were absolute bullshite with the crowder jump into the defender BS, 2 were on an absolute phantom call, and then at least 4 were from dumb frick fouls when they were in the bonus. So that is 12 fts they didn't deserve at all.

Suns are 29th(yea you read that right) in FT rate for the season.

Pels are 6th

that's an important stat right there.

also, how many times did Ayton bully his way into the lane like Jonas did? Ayton is out there taking turnaround jumpers and floaters and they are "paint" shots. Javele's "paint" shots were ally oops with no one around him. the shots Bridges and Payne had in the paint were rarely ever contested, and you can't expect to get fouled on floaters, which both of them take a lot of.

Jonas is attacking the rim. BI is attacking the rim. Herb is attacking the rim. Even Alvarado attacked the rim. there's a big difference between creating contact in the paint for your paint shots, and taking floaters.

I mean i understand that's a huge disparity, but i'd like Monty to come back after watching film and lett us know what fouls were missed for them that would have sent them to the line more. Our defense hasn't been that great once they get into the pain, and CP3 sets his guys up perfectly and they get a ton of uncontested looks.
