Who are free agents this year that yall will like to sign with if Lonzo/Hart are gone? I try to go for the guys who are outperforming their contracts. Not superstar players but can help us out tremendously.

Spencer Dinwiddie - Provides leadership and was clutch for the nets in some games. Was averaging 20ppg on 30mpg last year. Hard working and trains a lot with Nickeil Alexander Walker. Literally posts every day on his recovery which is good. Don't see him getting more than 15 million a year which is a bargain for his caliber. Last contract was 3/33 million.

Kelly Olynyk - Having his best year with the rockets. Averaging 19 ppg/ 8.4 rebs / 4.1 asts on 55% shooting with 39% from the 3. 30 y/o so he shouldn't be worth much either. Last contract was 4/50 million

Tj McConnell - Extremely underrated guard that provides defense and can fascilitate the ball. Read the article and you will see why you want this guy on your team. Last contract was 2/7 million

Bruce Brown- Probably one of the most underrated players in the NBA. Can defend all positions. Great article on him. LINK Last contract was 3/3 million.

Patty Mills - Provides great leadership, especially for a young team. But is having a down year this year. Last contract was 4/48 million

Derrick Rose - Ever since he joined the Knicks. They have became contenders. The best trade this year at the deadline imo. Last contract was 2/15 million.

Doug McDermott - Shooting over 50% and 39% from the three. Can provide spacing for us. Last contract was 3/22 million.

You’re joking right? Most of these guys are important role players on their team. I’m not trying to find guys who will cost over 15 million. If I can find a guy who is shooting over 50% and around 39% from 3 for a low price. I definitely will want him.

Well, when you have Zion and BI you aren’t going to sign a third star as a FA in NOLA. I’m sure the names would be much different if it was a trade target thread.

This. I’m trying to find guys who are UDA that won’t break the bank on us and can provide good role play. Stars need a great supporting cast.

does he provide leadership? Because he’s had times where’s he’s on twitter trying to stir up drama saying he wants to go to the Lakers or some other team, etc. I can only imagine what he’d do on Twitter after signing with Nola

We can let Lonzo walk and just sign Kawhi Leonard when he turns down his player option lol

But out of everyone on the list. I really want Bruce Brown. Guy is a double double machine and can defend every position. Has been improving every year.

where is Kira if McConnell is on this team?

I'd prefer to work with Naji and he become our Bruce Brown. ALways be weary of guys playing on great teams as role players. They are role players for a reason, James Posey.

I think McDermott should be the biggest target we shoudl go after when it comes to MLE level or less guys.

As a combo guard. I can see him and TJ working the bench if we move from Lonzo and start NAW.

Olynyk could be a nice fit if we are able to trade Adams. I really like McConnell off the bench. Brown is a nice piece. Don't want Dinwiddie and not big on Mills for the price. McDermott could be a decent bench piece if available for cheap. Not interested in Rose. Would not mind Otto Porter for the right price.

My apologies. I meant recently when he got 3 straight double doubles. After April he has been averaging 10.4ppg with 8.1 rebounds. Shot less than 50% twice.

The guy is probably getting 1/3 of what Hart is getting.

He’s projected to get around 20 million a year. I rather go for these guys who go around way less. McDermott at 7 million is more valuable than Robinson at 20.

All these downvotes for “shitty players” but these guys are players who are “bargain” players. Players who won’t kill us with their contracts and has been great for their team in their role. You can ask their fans and they will tell you how much they like them as much as we like Hart.

Wouldn't it be better to hit on a couple of our draft picks? We have 4 2nds. Two of them couldn't break the rotation or give us some depth?
