As requested in another thread, this will be the Zion Williamson thread. Every article you run across that mentions him needs to be discussed in here. If you want to discuss how he would play well with another play, such as Jrue, you will need to start a joint Zion/Jrue thread to discuss that.
This is for Zion ONLY.

Zion Lateef Williamson (born July 6, 2000) is an American professional basketball player for the New Orleans Pelicans of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Listed at 6 ft 7 in (2.01 m) and 285 pounds (129 kg), he plays the small forward and power forward positions. He was selected first overall in the 2019 NBA Draft by the Pelicans after a dominant freshman-year stint with the Duke Blue Devils.
Born in Salisbury, North Carolina, Williamson attended Spartanburg Day School, where he was a consensus five-star recruit and was ranked among the top five players in the 2018 class. He led his team to three straight state championships and earned South Carolina Mr. Basketball recognition in his senior season. Williamson also left high school as a McDonald's All-American, runner-up for Mr. Basketball USA, and USA Today All-USA first team honoree. In high school, he drew national attention for his slam dunks.
In his freshman season with Duke, Williamson was named ACC Player of the Year and ACC Rookie of the Year. He set the single-game school scoring record for freshmen in January 2019, claimed ACC Rookie of the Week accolades five times, earned AP Player of the Year, Sporting News College Player of the Year recognition, and won the Wayman Tisdale Award.

Jaxson Hayes outlook:
Medium / Realistic Outcome: Starter. Rim runner, rim protector. If the range does not expand and his passing does not improve, I still think he will be a pretty high level rim runner and protector. His awareness in both areas is pretty great considering how new he is to basketball (and, truthfully, generally speaking it’s good for his age regardless of experience). Not a franchise star, but a comfortable cornerstone who a team can rely on for many years to do his job.
High End: Starter. Elite rim runner, rim protector (potentially with a mid-range jumper). As suggested, this is assuming that his FT% translates to some semblance of a midrange jumper in time. I don’t think he’ll be a switch guy in the NBA, but I do think his rim protection will be good. In this scenario, I think his defense would end up being something similar to what Rudy Gobert / Clint Capela are able to do. Based on fluidity, rim protection and defensive awareness for age, and some progression, it is possible (though still unlikely).
