He's gonna get that Jenny Craig sponsorship.

Maybe Luka can now get his own flavor of Ruffles.

quote:If the Mavs said give us AD, Reaves, and the 3 or so 1sts the Lakers control, you think the Lakers would have said no?
1) mavs know luka better than anyone, they didn’t want him anymore
2) they wanted Anthony Davis which is pretty well easy to understand
I'd argue zero chance, the Lakers would have still pulled the trigger as quickly as possible to get Luka.

Naw. Once Lebron/Luka heard about this it would tank them.
Luka would demand specific locations.
Lebron would go nuclear because he doesn't want to be on a rebuilding team to possibly end his career, and he still has the Klutch angle to attack teams.
They git an all time horrible return.

quote:Luka showed like 3 seasons ago that he doesn't need much and can still drag a team to the WCF.
The Lakers are a rebuilding shite show and Luka's limitations.

He had a a magical, outlier run last year

And what do we have? Hardly Nothing.

For you conspiracy theorists out there -- maybe Mavs ownership can make more money if they suck.

That plan gets killed if the NBA decides it is not only expanding but that Vegas and Seattle get the new teams.

The most important part of that is him explaining why he's being so emotional and resorting to conspiracy theories. That post is just a bunch of cope.
I thought the NBA already basically guaranteed Vegas an expansion franchise. It blows up the CT entirely.

There have been rumors for years that Vegas and Seattle are getting expansion franchises.
But nothing has happened even remotely close to it actually happening yet.

For what it's worth, I am not buying the conspiracy theory of trying to create leverage to move the team. Dallas is the league's 4th biggest media market. Seattle is #13, and it's a lot easier for owners to agree to give up the #13 market than the #4 market. The NBA owners would never agree for the Mavs to leave Dallas.
I just think that it's interesting that ownership is likely focused on the vastly higher sums of money they could make from gambling than basketball.

I do appreciate the amount of effort you are putting in to justify one of the worst trades in sports history though.
Its good work by you, I'm sure its been fun
