ESPN Sources: Pelicans F Zion Williamson’s (left hamstring) is out for Friday’s Play-In Tournament elimination game vs. Sacramento and will be evaluated again in coming weeks. Huge blow for New Orleans.

So even if we win, he’s missing most if not all of round 1. Yeah just lose Friday and get the better draft pick

Meaning this is more than just a minor tweak. Full on hammy strain and he won’t be back even for Round 1.

So he’s out for the season. “In the coming weeks” doesn’t sound like he’d be ready for the first round.

Coming weeks? Yeah he’s done for the year.

Spacing will be better. Offense will be less clogged with watching layups
Although I think not 1 person on the Kings could guard Zion

They were never going to rush him back with a lower body injury.

It'll be best to lose Friday, and just get the 14th pick.
Sure, i'll watch and cheer on if we play OKC, but we aren't winning and without Zion, we aren't gaining anything more valuable than the 14th pick.

Sigh. I really dont want us to win on Friday. Useless.

Moot point because players won't lose intentionally for a better draft pick with playoffs on the line.

He is a Lakers fan.

I doubt we win with the way BI seems off.

Oh mother of heaven we are fricking CURSED.

So disappointing man. Like I can’t even be excited even if we win Friday, cause what’s the point?
Without Zion this team don’t have a chance of doing anything

He'll probably play better without Zion on the court.
Enough data to know the both play better when the other is out.

Lose against the Kings. Get rid of Willie, JV (makes me sad) and BI.
