Anyone have any updates on his progression this year? He should have seen way more minutes rather than just sit on the bench. He was really productive at Ohio State, as he averaged 33.2PPG in only 19.4MPG during his senior campaign. Young guy, only 2022. It blows my mind that he did not see the court this year. Hopefully next year we will see him

He would have seen the court had he not had a season ending injury dude. How do you not know this yet know all his college stats?

So, so, so much wrong in this post. First off is the whole torn ACL during Summer League thing. Secondly, you got the PPG and MPG switched. He averaged 19 PPG in 33 minutes per game last season. Other than those few minute details though, I can see how your “mind is blown” that he didn’t see action this season.

On a real note, I think I saw somewhere E.J. Has been doing 1 on 1 lately and hopes to be back for summer league.

Well when you tear your acl 1 month before the season starts you tend not to see much playing time

This is so confusing, how do you follow the Pelicans enough to know who our 2nd round pick was but not follow them enough to not know that tore his ACL and missed the entire season?

This has to be a troll, right?

Crazy to think, Zion and guys with torn ACL have the same injury timeline for next season

You really should do SOME research, ANY research, about a topic before starting a thread.

I have very low expectations for Liddell. He fell in the draft for a reason. He’s worth taking a flyer on for sure but he doesn’t look very athletic and he’s small.

Very small sample size but he looked overmatched athletically in his short minutes in summer league

Liddell's game will never look good in a summer league setting. He'll look better as a rotational guy who gets his looks when teams are sending defensive attention towards your star players. Not expecting him to blow you away but should give you good IQ, mobility, and efficiency. Give this team good defensive range and rebounding and he'll be great.
