And AD plays the entire quarter. I want to hear the Monty apologists explain to me how he's limiting his minutes. Sit him in winnable 4th quarters, but play him in massive blowouts.

Rookie getting a ton of minutes in a blowout? Stunning development

They've tried their best to keep him around 30 minutes or fewer. He played 29 tonight.

He's nowhere near the point where he's earned the right to sit out blowout losses

And some men want their team to win. I know I know, we're young, we have injuries, it was a road back to back.

Y'all go head and apologize.

i'm not apologizing for anyone. i'm one of the least knowledgeable on this board when it comes to fundamentals of bball i'm more of a football guy. just seems like a lot of bitching by certain people every game. it can't be healthy to be that mad all the time.

Mad and frustrated are different emotions.

And you keep fooling yourself into thinking this season is something it isn't. No one here is apologizing for Monty, his rotations have been questioned since he got here, but this season was always going to have more struggles than successes.

Its not rocket science that were pseudo tanking. The evidence is pretty overwhelming.

If we really wanted to compete this year we'd have done no brainer things like put in a claim on Elton Brand for a virtually minimum salary.

This team refuses to play defense now. Frustrating and not fun

The last time this happened they had to bring in Dominic McGuire to shame guys into playing hard again. Monty's coaching can only go so far. This team lacks leadership which was the main reason I was sad to see Jack go. One thing that is a little concerning for the future is who is this team's leader? Not it's best player, but it's Alpha dog that gets everyone in line. It's best 3 players are really not well suited to being the vocal leaders, they are too laid back. I suppose that guy could be Rivers if he ever gets his game together.

People on here just need to accept that this season isn't about winning. We are developing young players. If this shite continues next year, we can bitch about it then. We just aren't that good. Too young and no depth

Great point. You could say the same thing about Landry leaving as well. Someone needs to step up and be a leader of this team. The question is who will that be? Rivers and Davis are too young. Gordon just isn't that type of player. Seems like it needs to be Vasquez or Anderson. But we are definitely lacking leadership right now.

That is a tough question. Davis is too young, but is obviously the future of the team. Vasquez is a great choice. He took the hard road and has exceeded all expectations. That is something that a lot of players will respect.

Team has always been poor on defense this season. Last night was terrible. But the defense has been terrible all year. The difference was the offense took a plane to New Orleans instead of Minnesota.

They are young and defense is more about preparation and experience at this level. Poring over scouting reports, knowing where help will be, not ball watching, etc. One mistake and the possesion is over.

They are bad, but such a young team was always going to be bad at those things. Kevin Durant is just now becoming a dominant defensive player. It takes time.

Matt Moore has a great article with Iguodala this week talking defense.
