MM seems to indicate that Pels trying to get Chicago to take Ajinca but they may be more willing to take Allen/Nelson instead.

No one is heckling you. Everyone here would cry tears of joy if we landed Kawhi. It's just the Spurs aren't the Kings and even if they were, I don't think the devil makes deals twice for one soul.

I was mentioned Kawhi because they say he wants out of San Antonio, and he only has another year on his contract (just like Boogie when we traded for him).

People are quick to say something is impossible, until it happens. I have been suggesting trading for Mirotic, since the Bledsoe ship sailed. Most people acted like it was rediculous to suggest. Most people thought the Pels would be happy with a shite sandwich for Asik. Now they have established what a first and Asik can get: Mirotic. And it seems the Pels are the team playing hardball.

I don't have time to dig up the link, but a newsbreaker basically said something vague like relations were strained, which is understandable with such a crappy medical problem that won't seem to end. Then Jalen Rose threw fuel on the fire saying his sauces told him he wanted out. LINK

I probably said that, b/c of the cap situation, and i'm saying it right now again. It makes no sense to me to trade him for an expiring contract, and much much less sense to trade him for a role player that carries the same salary as him into next year for us. If this trade were to go through and we have to pay Mirotic next year, the trade will essentially become Asik/1st/Moore/ and maybe some more to move Moore, just so we can sign 3 minimum contract guys to fill out the roster.

Do you still think getting Mirotic for 1 more year is worth ridding yourself of Asik (even though stretching him only costs you $3M/yr), a 1st, and Moore?

Can't remember where I saw it but the Spurs supposedly almost traded him to the Knicks

So no link Lloyd? :(

There is no proof whatsoever that Kawhi wants out, and even if he did, they would want significant value.

It isn't analogous to the Boogie situation in the least.

Doesn't it seem odd to you, everybody else knows what I'm talking about. Or how about you read a couple posts up, TigerinATL already put up a link.

To be clear, I know about the "report". I commented on it in the MSB thread at the time I think (I could be wrong, I remember reading through the entire thread).

The report is just obvious ESPN clickbait bullshite. A "strained relationship" is a very far cry from "they will trade him to a division rival for Omer Asik and a 1st".

And Jalen Rose is VERY far from a reliable source.

They are not analogous situations.
