Well, I haven't paid much attention to Derozan, but based upon what I read that move makes no real sense unless another deal is also in the works. It would have to be something that moves EG and provides a little help at the 5.

I just asked why the Bulls would take on Gordon's contract and give up Deng's expiring, then proposed that the Pels trade Gordon for Aldridge. How could I be serious about that?

Because they have a shot at the playoffs with Boozer and Noah at the peak of their primes. Jimmy Butler though, come on...

Also, does Gordon really have bad knees? Or is he just a little bitch? EG injury outline

Toronto picks up a one year contract + a young guard, Cleveland gets to dump Waiters, Pelicans get a big + Derozan. Might favor Pelicans too much. And after last nights performance, I know everyone is high on Aminu - he played a hell of a game

Pelicans: Derozan, Varejao
Cleveland: Eric Gordon, Aminu
Toronto: Steimsma, Waiters

Would also clear about 2 mil for the Pelicans, I believe.

ETA: also, with Bynum playing well (and about 20 minutes a game), maybe Cleveland is more likely to give up Varejao..
