This team is young. This team is good. We have a team comprised mostly of twenty-somethings and a 2nd year head coach. There will be growing pains and we will lose some ugly games this season. With that being said.....

If you plan on getting on Pels Talk after every loss and whining like a little bitch, you are a shitty fan. Enjoy the highs and lows. The New Orleans Pelicans are still stacked, The Association is still fricked.

With a very small exception of whining and breakdowns, I think it's been mostly fine given how we lost.

I get that, but every single thread since the game is basically trashing one player or aspect of the game. We can't expect to win every game. Even the ones we should win by 20. Had a bad night. Next game

We will be fine. We just need to get healthy and get a few games under our belt together back as a whole unit. Took everything the Lakers had to beat us without 2 of our starters.

We're an Olynyk runner and Lakers miracle, two shots under 3 seconds, from being 6-1 despite the injuries. The Lakers win probability had to be <1% under 2 seconds. Bad shite happens. The Pelicans have a good team and don't need to run guys into the ground like the Lakers will with AD. Bad teams need to play stars through injuries to save seasons.

I think the 6 game home stand will tell us a lot about the team and the cities buy in. It's almost two straight weeks at home. I hope we can go 5-1 in that strecth.

That lost stung due to the opponent and how it went down after we pretty much had the game won any normal fan would be pissed after that

Likewise, we are, due to another late game busted defensive possession, one Luka shot away from being 3-4....

Why would anyone enjoy the lows? That's like saying "I'm really depressed... this is awesome!"

I feel like somehow people are forgetting we were down two starters. Its hard to win in the NBA down your alpha and best defender. Add to the fact you were playing Lebron/AD/ and a good Russ.

I don't blame the players for that loss. That loss was on the coaching staff (really poor game plan in the 1st half and bad defensive sets in the 2nd) and even more so on the training staff. For some reason this staff thinks we are the Warriors and can just rest healthy players. B.I. could have played and should have been on the road trip, even if he could only play in the Lakers game. We need wins and chemistry more than we need caution.

Yea just when I think this board isn’t like the others people lose their minds over a loss 7 games into an 82 game schedule.

We lost in the road at the buzzer to a fully healthy team while playing without out best player and best defender.

The team that beat us isn’t awful - they have lebron, are playing hard and play capable defense.

A 19 year old rookie with less than 48 minutes of nba game time in his career played great but missed two free throws at the end.

Oh well.

People are coming here with a football mentality, and don't understand that the NBA season is a marathon, not a sprint. One loss is not catastrophic.

Yup, losing to a very shitty Lakers team and having to watch Anthony fricking Davis with that shite eating grin was the worse!
