David Griffin says a lot of things. This is a direct quote from him at his end of season presser.

"If I'm a fan and David Griffin comes back up here next year and says, yeah, you know we just gotta get better, I'm gonna be pissed off. We've gotta get better right now. We've gotta learn from everything we didn't do properly and make that mean something," Griffin said.

So what did Griffin learn from and do as the top guy in our organization- he demoted Nelson, let Willie hire his own staff, signed Zeller and drafted Hawkins.

I’m not really sure that’s remotely enough but lets see we’re basically running the same team out and hoping for better injury luck(which so far hasn’t happened- Trey and Jose).

Hmmm pretty weird since there was only that one day with the pictures. You would think they would take as many as they could of the unicorn.

Media day is in a little over a week. You'll see him soon enough.

I want to see the scale and the body fat %. They could shut a lot of us quick if they posted that each week.

He came into the league as a kid and he’s growing up. Not backhanded af all, but very telling.

I would say 60 is what most people hope for. It would actually be perfect because it excludes him from bonuses in his contract. The 65 game rule is a huge plus for us. Also Ingram is betting on himself is a good sign as well. That means he plans on playing 65.

Lopez was on The Lowe Post.

Big news he broke on there is Zion made changes to his own personal staff that he’s been training with. I’ll assume this means his stepdad is no longer training him.

Zion has been around the team more, they even all played a pickup game together.

I had the balls weeks ago to post that Ihad a good feeling about this
season. I’m hoping it’s not a delayed effect of the stroke.

I don't really see it that way. He did what he had to do previous: GM's have to cover for star players all of the time. Privately they may have different conversations but in public they are constantly having to cover for stars.

When you're a small market, you have to attempt to keep a potential star happy or they bolt (and likely bolt anyway).

I think he's finally sort of done with that with Zion.

Zion is fit y’all. Check out the video of him talking about his new shoe.

I’m going with one last time of being fooled.

Based on Zion now seeming to go into alpha Jordan mode over offseason, I’m predicting we are at least going to conference finals.

I don't believe anything that comes out of David Griffin's mouth when it's about Zion.
