I think he may get us the most in return with who is realistically available and we already have his replacement? I would hate to see him go because he is such a great team guy.

I think trading Ingram is more likely than Murphy, and I don't think BI is going anywhere

What?
You just want to trade someone to get a return?

What’s the point of that?

Yeah, if they do a trade it will because it was a good value deal, like Murray and Okungwu for JV/filler/picks would be cheap. I don't see why Atlanta does that, but I have to think that's what Griff is angling for.

I want to push back on this, we do not have his replacement at all. Hawkins and Trey play different positions and play different games. The only thing in common is they’re both good shooters.

If we trade what Trey can potentially be opposed to what BI is we’re dumb

Do you really think that Hawk would have done well guarding PG13 last night?

We have much different definitions of cheap. Jonas to Murray is a downgrade by every advanced metric.

I'm really conflicted about Dyson.

While his offense is a work in progress and peak might be Rubio, his defense has been downright elite. Who was on wemby to end the game? Dyson.

That's not the first time he's defended the best player in clutch situations.

But a big trade involving Murphy is gonna include Dyson imho their value combined is huge

We need to stop thinking Trey is some heir apparent to BI.

They are the same size. Everything about their games are completely different.

agree, I haven't seen much progress in Trey's overall game. A few head fakes but not much else. Desn't finish around the rim well.

If the consensus is that he could be close to a max player, i would deal him and hope Hawkins could fill in the perimeter shooting loss.

If you think you can get Trey long term at 25m, keep.
