he only negative things I have ever talked about him are his conditioning and body type.
aren't 3 of these from covid (which caused CJ to miss multiple games and i would say he's in pretty good shape) and 3 are from him getting undercut and landing extremely hard on his hip?

Neither of these are from body type or conditioning.

He's missed 2 games with ankle/foot injury and we have a level of talent where you can hold a guy out for a game or two as a precaution and still get wins (6-2 with zion out)

Complete opposite, just about everyone else is openly rejoicing all of these bumped threads.

Embrace the PETTY

I don't know about tigerinATL, but based off what I've seen him anchor this thread stays if we want it too. I've still got some bookmarks myself I'm holding off bumping.

Pels stay petty because of all the bullshite hate we've been getting for years and years, some of it our fault, some of it due to awful injury luck that national media refused to consistently acknowledge. This is the Receipt Season.

Timely, there's a post in that thread from a poster stating for Zion to try that bully ball on Gobert and it wouldn't work. Oops!

That's extra funny considering now just how badly Zion dominated Gobert last night, but as they were doing and as Antonio Daniels was yelling that they should do at the end, was for the Pels to give the ball to Zion and actually hunt the mismatch to get Gobert on him. And he did, and he kept scoring on Gobert's head over and over.

Zion was doing this to Gobert as a rookie, people just keep forgetting.

I regret some of the anchors from the past few weeks. They were weak threads by a drive by moron, but ridiculing threads like this is part of the process of keeping the board clean long term. There are consequences for thinking dumb things and not keeping them to yourself.

Agreed

I'm always for keeping just bad takes around.

But when guys are just adding absolutely nothing and name calling every post(takayaka guy) or stalking social media to bring back person info here(won't mention the couple of names so it won't blow up but they know who they are lol) those posts should be whacked and posters banned for that.

Took longer than I'd hoped for the takayaka guy, but we got there! I still haven't seen anything happen or even the posts with personal info removed when RA'd for the other ones where personal info is put on the boards for the sole purpose of trolling.

We're all learning this mod stuff together!!

I was concerned about his health, defense, and d Griff. I don’t think I was alone in any of those boats in December of last year.

I also acknowledged his greatness even when he was at rock bottom.

I’ve def said some stupid shite on here, but I think I was mostly supportive of Z in this thread and on the whole.

Im glad he’s healthy and that the organization turned it around before he even got healthy. That was not an absolute given and as a long term fan of this franchise, it felt like we were going to continue to be unlucky and stuck, bc that’s really been a familiar place to be as a New Orleans Hornets and Pelicans fan.

Prove it. I hadn't even posted in this thread, before being called out.

Trading Zion for draft picks, you'd still do that today?

Sorry, I just saw this.

I didn't say 2 1sts. I said a top 3 pick and multiple additional picks. Also I wasn't pushing a trade, just talking about his value.

How much value do you believe that Zion had last February? Heck even this summer before he signed the extension. Let's say the Magic wanted him and offered the 1st pick. How much more woukd they have had to attach to that pick to obtain Zion?

You specifically said you'd trade him for Randle and picks:

The only thing I'm trading Zion for is a top 3 pick (plus other picks) and Randle

Wayyyyy more than what you suggested you'd trade for with Randle and picks.

That's not two picks. That could 5 or 6 picks, plus one of them a top 3 selection.

You really think that Randle (an all-star and borderline MVP candidate), a top 3 pick and 4-5 additional 1st round picks is not enough for Zion as a pure valuation exercise?

He is going to be an all-star this year (24/10/4). But according to everyone on here that call McCollum and Ingram all-stars, I can use that.

As far as MVP, he was a finalist two years ago. So, he has been a candidate. The Knicks went 10-6 in December with Randle averaging 28/11/4. He is warming up and the crowd chanted MVP the other night. He's going to start getting some run..

No

As I've stated before, I wouldn't take Julius Randle on this team if the Knicks added multiple 1sts and we gave up nothing of value.

But you want to give Zion instead. Woof.
