If the pels were able to get Zion AND a player of Lillards caliber that late in the draft...the franchise will be set for an outstanding future.

We are set for an outstanding future. This team will be good. It may take a while, hell maybe even a season, but this team will be good.

NAW is a goon. That shooting touch is butter....super impressed with that defensive stop on the bigger Randle too. Love this kid.

Tbh I don’t see why not. He plays like he’s been the league for 2-3 years. His IQ is amazing. He’s a better shooter than we anticipated.

Plus I think he’s a better defender than Dame.

How?

Sure it’s early in his career but you can’t deny he looks really good. Watch the games. He stands out.

Are you sayin he plays like Lillard? Don’t really see it tbh. Lillard is much quicker with the ball. NAW is a bit more crafty and will probably be a better defender as time goes on.

I’d say more CJ McCollum. But a better passer and maybe a better defender. Not saying he’s better than CJ or as good rn but his offense reminds me of CJs

Defensively he’s already better than Lillard

Let’s just let him be the first NAW.

Let’s revisit this in a few months, and you can tell us if you still feel that way.

NAW will be a fringe All Star player if he played in the East. Like a Spencer Dinwiddle (sp) player.
He will push Lonzo to be better. He is your backup PG opening night. Jackson/Moore are on the trade blocks officially. I even see Moore asking to be traded at some point from losing minutes.

That's what I heard in the summer league. Now that he is dominating real NBA players, I'd be curious to know why you think he's overhyped.

All i am saying is that we shouldn't have our expectations too high b/c NAW isn't facing all star players for 20 minutes a game and you can't compare him to DL. He just isn't as explosive, different game to me.

Kid is calm, instinctive, and plays silky smooth. I can't think who i want to compare him too at the moment but I think he will be a really good player for us.

Let's see how much time Genty gives him and how he fits in the rotation.

Lillard isn't nearly the passer or defender NAW is. Lillard is a bad comparison. I would actually compare him to his cousin SGA but a better scorer.

What a rough comparison. Games are nothing alike and Lilliard is a proven NBA all star.
