Gordon for derrick williams and JJ barea

derrick has not shown he's worth it to me. jj is not an upgrade over roberts so this deal stinks. jmo

I in no way shape or form want to even think about tanking next year but if we would be guaranteed wiggins I may reconsider my stance. not how real life works though

This team does not need players who won't give it his all on a consistent basis. That is the rep that has been following Shabazz.

And it came out that he was lying about his age and playing against kids 2 years younger than him to build that rep.

ETA - being compared physically to kids 2 years younger.

Anyone on board for tanking again next season must love the kings model. Its worked out well for them so far. Trades will happen. Signings will happen. We don't know which. But our team will compete for an 8th seed. Actually well likely be in the playoffs. Because Tom and Dell know they can't mess this up. This rebrand depends on it. If we start off tanking again. And losing again, we just go to lotto oblivion like the kings have done and like the cavs are looking like they are about to do.

DRIVEMAN

He has been right with anything involving Benson teams lately. He did report last week that nnamdi was not gonna sign with the saints.

Driveman leaked that Jarrett Lee was just a 6'2 ranter a full year before everyone realized he sucked.

He also broke that Benson would buy the Hornets. I don't think there's any doubt about his credentials. And he rarely posts here unless he's breaking news so while I think the specific trade is probably just his own speculation, I'm thinking he heard they are leaning heavily towards moving Gordon this summer. Some of that could be reliant on the draft though. Maybe McLemore and Oladipo are at the top of the Hornets board, and if they stay top 5/6 they have a good shot at getting one of them.

GODDAMNIT, MAXIMUS! Now we're going to have to deal with Tigrlee's and CptBengal's shite here, too.

He reported it did not look good for signing Nnamdi because Porter was in for a visit. Porter was not signed either. It was a 50/50 guess based on info that Gallette himself tweeted (Porter's visit). He also said the Niners offer was $7 million to $9 million more than the Saints. He got $1.35 million plus incentives.

No doubting he may know someone with Benson, but not a higher up. Benson's purchase of Hornets was speculated for months prior to his projection. He did break the logo (which may mean he knows someone within organization).

False. He reported that's what Nnamdi wanted. He wanted a longer term deal that was 7-9 more than the Saints were offering.

But that he wouldn't get that from either and that he was going to sign with the 9ers.

While he may miss on some details here and there, he has largely been on the money.
