That's what I'm wondering to, I don't see Memphis going into a rebuild. Them having that Suns pick could be huge if they want KD

There's a chance Memphis won't sign Aldama with this trade. Could be a good opportunity to swoop in and snatch him from them.

Bane is the better ball handler, more consistent shooter (all 5 years 38%+ from 3), and better rebounder. He is also 2 years older and has 4/163ish mil left on his deal.
Trey I think has become a better 3 level scorer and able to draw more fouls. He's also substantially cheaper at 4/112mil
In the era of these tax games, I think that plays a huge role. We need to capitalize these next 2 years or else we really should rebuild completely.
