I have no clue what I would even ask for in return. Probably nothing of value.

Dude is an MVP

Start bidding at either Tatum or Herro and then let them pile on picks back and forth until one drops out.

I think you can get a 2nd or 2. Billy would be great in boston, they have so many great defenders to cover him on that end all he needs to do is rebound and score which are his strengths

I assume a player of like salary would need to be involved for salary purposes

Don’t really understand how he’s gonna get more minutes on either of those teams. But whatever.

Poor Billy.

Dude could go from limited minutes on a team with substanial front court injuries to even less minutes behind the less-nicked-up Horford, G. Williams and R. Williams III.

I'd rather just keep him. He still has a role here. The minute we trade him, Val will be out for a month.

one 2nd 2023.

its going to be high 50s.

memphis has paired 2 2nds to move up to 30th in round 1.
they got both bane and aldama as #30 in round 1 for 2 2nds. jackpot.

Horford is old and timelord is an injury risk thats only playing 20 mins/game. They could use billy to soak up minutes and ensure they go into the playoffs with those guys healthy and rested

Miami has 2 problems. The nearest 2nd they have is 2026, and they don't have a TPE that would work for Billy so they'd have to send us a player, but the end of bench guys we could take and cut don't make quite enough, so it'd have to be part of a bigger deal to get it to work.

They either are willing to give up someone like Jovic for Billy and picks, which seems unlikely because we'd offer 2nds and they'd want a 1st, or we are using them to leverage Boston into more.

Pelicans hang up the phone the minute they hear Ingram.

I wouldn't take a single player on their roster over Ingram.

Man i really like Jovic. No way they give him up for anything less than a true difference maker

I brought him up because they don't seem to have the right assets to make a smaller Billy trade work unless you bring in Jovic in which case the Pels would have to send more than Billy back. I think it's more likely they are just bidding competition for Boston.

Shamit is on his let me pretend I like Ingram but push for him to be traded kick right now. Before the season he basically called everyone an idiot that didn't want Durant and now he is basically saying how crazy Pels fans are to think Ingram is better than Bam. That dude has started to seriously get on my nerves with his all high and mighty viewpoint.

That being said, why would they immediately hang up the phone? Fit? Bam is an incredible basketball player and you can't really make a case that B.I. is on another level than Bam.

B.I. is possibly my favorite player in the league, so this isn't coming from someone who wants to trade him.

Not unusual. He always craps on opposing opinions.

I like Bam, just no sure if the investment in a player like him is great given our investment in Zion. They both play close to the basket on offense. Bam is not really a rim protector either so there is a lot of redundancy with he and Zion. Not sure I would want to give up a player like BI who can create for himself and others for Bam.
