---4 years from now? JMO...I say
1. Daniels
2. Herb
3. Trey
4. Nance (assuming there's some way he's still healthy)
A huge drop in likelihood these guys will still be around...but here goes...
5. CJ
6. Jose
7. Kira
8. Naji
9. Willy
10. Hayes
1. Daniels
2. Herb
3. Trey

I'd say Trey and Daniels likely
Everyone else on the list not likely, with jose being the most likely of the least likelys.

CJ will retire here. I think Jose will stay. I think Naji is going to chase money.

One of our franchise players is wearing a Jose shirt. I have to think Jose will be around.

I can see him going ring chasing after this contract is up if we aren't in contention then.

Unpopular opinion: I’d trade BI for Gilgeous-Alexander. I think he and Zion would work well together and he’s injured a lot less.

I think that would work well for us but don’t see OKC unloading him unless it’s a crazy offer.

SGA is better than BI by a wide margin.

Wouldn't disagree. I don't think BI is untouchable. And I'd still luv to have somehow picked up Mikal Bridges since he's about to explode offensively and I think he's a wee bit better than BI defensively since he was 2nd in DPOY last year.

I see you and a couple of your fantasy friends super hour are at it again. First sign of adversity you all want to LeGM a super team. Team picture with GTA winning Rising Stars MVP tells me all I need about this team. Might not be a straight path, but for sure a real bond that don’t quit and look for the EZ out. But hey, you all got opinions too.

First, I don't put much stock in the regular season...as long as we avoid the play-ins. So "adversity" doesn't bother me in the least...at this time. Might even help us...long term. I think we'll be a much better team, by playoff time.
But, I do have a nasty habit of preferring players that play hard on both ends of the court. Hence...Bridges. I think SAG, at worse, is about even with BI overall...but I personally, wouldn't go out of my way to get him if it meant moving BI...BUT I could see how many others might MUCH prefer SAG to BI...given our current roster.

OK...I'll change it to...
Which current players...4 years from now...will be in our main rotation, when we will obviously be one of the better teams in the NBA & a solid contender to win it all.
LeBron will be in Vegas and NOT playing basketball & the Lakers are toast. Durant and the Suns will be washed up. Memphis is subject to have several players doin' hard time...g...so the time is right for the Pels to grab the cheese, for the next several years. (Joker or no Joker)
You're right...I feel much better...making my post more uplifting.

SGA is averaging 31 ppg with a .624 TS%.
SGA is decidedly better, and we'd have to add a decent amount of assets to swap the 2.

Hey...of course you're right... but cut me some slack here !! I try to be amicable & see other folks' point of view, even if I think they're absolutely wrong.

They could believe that he’s stunting Giddy’s growth. That would be a good trade for both team’s honestly. They would have a core of Giddy, BI, Williams, and Chet. We get almost the perfect star next to Zion

Jonas will still be here anchoring the 5 position on his new Super Max contract.
Zion’s body will likely be donated to Science within 4 years at this rate.
Victor Webanyama will be Jonas’s backup.
Brandon Ingram will be in Toronto based on that Slam Interview and the way he said “Toronto”. His body type is also perfect for the Toronto Raptors.

If you go back to 2019, none of those players are on this team now.
If you go back to 2015, only a handful are on the 2019 team (Davis, Holiday, Miller..).
2011, nobody on the 2015 team.
It's a safe bet that most (if not all) of the roster gets flipped in the next few seasons, unless we go on an epic run the next couple of seasons.
Also, I belive the Jazz just sent a message to the league and every struggling team is going to want to copy. Scorched earth, dump it all and stay competitive. It's a copy cat league..
