Last two minutes of NBA games are, more often than not, iso ball. Gotta have as many folks as possible who can create their own shot.

Look I’m a huge critic of BI’s but he’s way better than those guys. And it’s not even close. BI is a star.

What makes BI so.much better than those guys? Thejr numbers aren't very different and BI isn't some elite defender or very clutch so...

B.I. has 62 games under 10 points avg 26 minutes in those games. Kobe had 92 games under 10 avg 17 minutes a game. Its not unprecedented for allstars and first options to have games under 10 points.
B.I. should not be the best player on a contending team, at least not by a large margin. Luckily we have Herb, Val, Murphy, to an extent CJ all have comparable talent to B.I., although less. And Zion is a better player and a legit #1. There are not many players who have been contenders at such a young age much less win a chip.
The deal with resigning him is how are we going to replace his talent if we don't? Does it make us a better team or not to sign him? We're a small market we're probably not getting free agents even if we could afford one. That leaves trades and drafts. Sign and trade maybe. It's not just about how much you think A guy is worth. There is so much more in to it than that.

At least he still had 7 assists, his pass to Zion under the goal was a beauty

Crewz is a jerk but he's always been right about Ingram. For every game like he gave you vs Washington, he has a clunker like last night.
That's what separates true stars from guys who are just good.
I agree 100%.

that may have been his worst game as a pelican. i could tell it was going to be a tough night for him when in the 1st quarter he bricked about 3 shots in a row from his spot where hes automatic. those nights happen, he'll be fine. it is encouraging that we won despite his bad game i agree

quote:For argument's sake, let's say that is true. Do you see any scenario where Griffin trades him? BI seems to be Griff's favorite player and it seems he feels BI could be Durant. I just do not see him trading BI.
Probably best for the Pels and BI to just move on their separate ways...and wish each other the best.

Ingram is in the Julius Randle, Kuzma, Jerami Grant range of NBA guys. Good numbers on paper but do they directly lead to wins?
BI might not be a true bonafide 1 that can carry a team, but he sure as shite isn’t on the level of those guys.
And yes what he does translates to wins, very often.
Go look up what Murray and MPJ do every game and tell me those are guys that are on a level above BI.

Curry with 7 points on 2-12 shooting last night.
I guess he’s on par with Julius Randle too.

There's just so many early condemnations made about the Pels this year and all I kept fricking saying was let them play some games together. Ingram CJ and Zion are on the court and we're 16-11 with some very winnable games coming up. Trey is building consistency.
League still remains fricked

BI has stepped up. Some people are
just stuck on a silly narrative that doesn’t hold water.
