Per Willie. They are hopeful he will have a full practice on this road trip.

Clearly a setback happened if they've gone from "returning on this road trip" to "hope to go through a full practice on this road trip"

Missed 40% of games since start of last season and still counting.
Between BI and Zion, the Pels have not gotten one full time player in the last 2 seasons.

I don't think that's true. If a setback had happened they wouldn't talk about him testing it out in practice. He'd need another few weeks to recover from the setback first.

A minor setback is still a setback. Something happened to readjust the timeline.

Feel like these geniuses are looking at the schedule and saying "we should be able to win this without BI"

And passing away games we need to win

Ingram can be 99.1% healthy and he still won’t play til he’s 100%.

People need to understand Desmond Bane had this same injury and was out 11/11 - 12/23. BI got hurt on 11/25, so this week makes sense for him to be back.

I made fun of Anthony Davis and hated his weak arse when he played here. I feel somewhat responsible for tempting the basketball gods. Sorry.

I love statements like this. As if you have any damn idea what he’s feeling when he tries to go full speed.

We’ve won a bunch without BI (and a bunch without Zion)

I mean with all the back to back travel and so many games in so few days have we had a chance to do a full team practice and not just shoot arounds.

Yeah I would think we haven’t done much more than have shoot arounds the last week or two.

To be fair he missed like 10 games with a concussion when someone pretended to steal his nose.

You can call BI soft and unwilling to play through any pain if you want (though no one posting here really knows what he’s going through). I’ll remember a guy who kept this team afloat last year and was busting his arse when we started 1-12. To each his own.

Fair.

I’ve heard this twice from someone who is employed by the Saints/Pels.
He may or may not call the Pels games. That’s my source for BI being 100 healthy before he plays.

There were whispers last year with the hamstring that he was cleared for a while before he decided to come back. It’s a legitimate concern.

Anthony Davis

has played only 5 less games than BI these last 2 seasons so far.
